Things I wish I'd have known before buying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lawnmower for the reasons it is boasted about: it's battery powered, lightweight, and easy to use and maneuver. These are all great (and accurate) features. However, I'm not 100% satisfied with this mower.
First, if you're considering buying this, just get the package with 4 batteries! I struggled making the decision on 2 vs. 4 and because I have a small yard (and cost) I only got 2. The batteries definitely don't last very long which is a bummer. So just save yourself grief and get 4.
Second, the mower has two modes, eco and turbo... Unfortunately I have found zero difference in performance between the two. And overall performance isn't great. I don't feel that it cuts the grass as well/as evenly as my old (and I mean old) rinky-dink gas mower that I was replacing. I've walked at a normal pace and I've walked at a slower pace, and I still end up with a lot of blades of grass that somehow don't get cut and stand taller than the rest.
If I were to start over, I think I would opt for one of the larger mowers with steel blades. Maybe that's the problem? Love the idea of a battery powered, easy-to-use, lightweight mower (which it is), but as expensive as these are I expected more out of it.

Just right for me

I bought this a month ago. I have a variety of spaces that need maintenance. The batteries last as long as I want to work and recharged rapidly. Exceeded my expectations

Great gift

I was torn between the 14 and 17 inch. I went with 17 because that's what the electric mower is. Having put in a patio design my daughter did not like having to drag an extension cord around outdoor furniture. I purchased for my daughter and she loves it. So do I and I'm sure the neighbors do as well. This mower is really quiet. Nice cut.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite not having the full adjustable handle I was assured it did have, I do like it for mowing my campsite. It's quiet, light and stores easy. The word campsite is the reason I got this to mow under my camper. I can't do that because the handle does not adjust/pivot down as I was told it did. Now I still need to reach under with my weed trimmer which is not very easy. Sure wish I would have not been misled. ( weed killer worked just as well)

Terrible product

I bought this a few weeks back with high hopes. When the lawn mower arrived I realized it’s an extremely lightweight and plastic, almost feels like a toy handling it. Hardly any power and the battery does not last as long as it’s advertised. Great for an elderly woman with a small yard, but nothing more. Took me two days just to finish my back yard that’s less than 1200sqft on a full battery. Ridiculous.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Light, nimble mower

We have a relatively small yard, and this works great. We also have an embankment which is hard to mow, and this makes it much more stable because it’s so light. Seems like a very nice reliable product.

It is not the lawn mowers fault. It is so light it feels like a toy lawn mower. I think maybe my yard is too big for it and the lawn is not huge. I have used it three times and I like that it mulches the grass to some extent but none of the grass goes into the grass catcher. It leaves the clippings in long rows and I either have to rake it up or go over the rows two times.
We recently had a lot of rain for Nevada and the grass was really thick. I had to use my old mower. I did let the grass dry out before mowing. I think my option is to mow it twice a week. I wish I thought it was the best mower ever!
