[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the light weight and easy to use the only draw back is it is hard to a just in the weed trimming position you have to hold down with your foot and put force to a just it position

Thank you for sharing your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. To better assist with the WG163 Worx Trimmer repositioning the trimmer the first couple of times will be a little slightly difficult if the tool is brand new . Over time the tool will become easier to adjust . We thank you for choosing Worx and thank you for being a valued Worx Customer !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This performs really well but I ended up gluing the wheels on because they were constantly coming off. For the price, and ability to interchange batteries with other Workx tools, I am satisfied. And really do love the line spools for life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For seniors, it works great! Battery lasts long enough for my yard. Extra battery a plus for extra trimming. I haven’t had to take the spool apart to feed line. I would definitely buy again.

I have half an acre lot and cut it with a rider mower which leaves trim-work in corners and along edges. Several negative reviews left me hoping the tool and battery life would be good enough. After 3 times around the yard, I'm extremely pleased. A full charge on a battery lasts for 2 trips around the yard. Auto line feed hasn't let me down. The unit is light and easy to handle. Oh, and how does it trim? It handles 12" grass along the wooded edges as well as what the rider can't reach. I haven't tried but wouldn't expect it to bush-hog a heavy weeded area. Overall, I'd recommend this machine, again.

I've had this for about 5 years, still works. I'm short in stature & not as strong as a man so this trimmer/edger is just right for me.

Good tech but eats through spools fast and went through 2 batteries in under 20 mins that's bad

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. We apologize for any inconveniences you have been caused.
Each included 20V MaxLithium battery is designed to provide enough working time per charge to trim up to the average 1/4 acre yard on one charge. Actual results may vary on a variety of factors, including the density of the grass or weeds you’re cutting or the age of the battery pack. Each 20 volt 2.0Ah battery included with the WG163 provides up to 30 minutes of run time. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional battery to assist with tackling larger tasks. WORX offers high capacity 20V 4.0Ah and 6.0Ah lithium batteries that will increase your runtime with twice the amp hours of our standard battery.
Should you have any further questions, please contact our Customer Care Team at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST and on Saturday from 8 am until 4 pm EST. We'd be more than happy to assist you!

How long should a spool last?

I really like this trimmer's battery life, power, weight, etc. but it burns through a spool of line in no time. Admittedly I don't have much experience with weed wackers - how long should a spool last? And is it only supposed to release more line when you press the button? Because I am not pressing the button and it still eats up the line.
Response from worx.comBy Portia M., Customer Experience , August 17, 2019
This varies from user to user. Other factors like the type of grass being cut may affect this as well.
Our Double Helix line is specially designed to work with the Worx GT CommandFeed, and give you a quicker and more efficient cut to help maintain a healthy, professionally groomed lawn. With the purchase of your Worx GT Revolution, you’re automatically enrolled in our Free Spools for Life program. You get free spools pre-loaded with 10 feet of line anytime you need them; just pay shipping and handling for each package of 6.
If you decide to use traditional line, the Worx GT can accept standard 0.065” cutting line found at any garden or home center and can be wound around our empty spool cartridges. Refer to your owner’s manual for important details about how to wind the line on the spools and keep in mind that with conventional cutting line, CommandFeed may not work as expected.
Should you have any further questions, please contact our Customer Care Team at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST and on Saturday from 8 am until 4 pm EST. We'd be more than happy to assist you.
