I’ve bought several Worx products, 2 chainsaws &2string trimmers. The last string trimmer I purchased is the hardest trimmer to rewind the trimmer line. Took it off of the trimmer like sggested, and the line is extremely difficult to rewind. HELP any suggestions,

I like the light weight of trimmer, It does cut nicely and it is lightweight, but the battery charging is ultra slow (1hr/2 ah battery, 1hr 40 mins /4Ah battery) Compared to a more common unit that's yellow (20 minute charge time). run time is equally horrible 12 minutes per pair of 2Ah batteries 20 minutes per pair of 4Ah batteries. The only other issue is the shaft does not stay clicked in. the button seems to be weak, if bumped it disengages from locking hole.
Just used this trimmer for the first time. Bump feed doesn’t work with the supplied .095 twist line. I tried taking it out and reloading but bump feed still doesn’t work. I had some left over line from my old trimmer .08 and loaded it. This solved the issue bump feed works fine. The manual recommends the .095 twist line but the bump feed won’t work with that recommendation. Otherwise the trimmer works great!
This is an excellent tool. I have vast amounts of weed whacking to do and my old weedwhacker was too heavy, hard to start and too loud. This is easy to grab and use, set down, pick up and I find I am much more inclined to attack trimming than I used to be. Cost less than my gas model, is as powerful but is much more convenient to use.
recently tried out this grass trimmer, and while it has its strengths, there are a few key areas that need improvement.
Pros: The trimmer delivers impressive power, especially compared to my previous model, the W184.9. I also appreciate the versatility of being able to hook up other tools, though I haven’t tested that feature yet.
Cons:
Throttle Control: The throttle trigger lacks precision. It jumps from off to high revolutions, offering no gradual speed increase. This makes it difficult to control and drains batteries quickly, even in ECO mode. For reference, I went through three sets of batteries just trimming an average front yard. Guard Shield: The guard shield design is inadequate. It fails to block debris, including small stones and sand, which can become hazardous. Goggles or a face shield, along with long pants, are an absolute must when using this tool. A redesign of the guard would significantly enhance safety. Cutting Head Design: The bulky cutting head limits your ability to achieve a close trim. Tilting the trimmer sideways is the only workaround, which is far less convenient than the adjustable head feature on the W184.9. I hope the company considers redesigning the shield and offering an upgraded version for purchase. Despite its power, the trimmer’s inefficiencies make it less practical for everyday use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello There! Thank you for sharing your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. This trimmer has a bump feed system! This means when you bump the cutting head to the floor, the line will advance. However, if this is not working how it should please email us at worx@positecgroup.com to advise us of what is going on and we will be happy to help!
