Great wireless system!!

Have had these cameras and the solar panels for the complete 8 channel system for 6 months. All are working perfect after some very heavy rains. If you hook up the solar panels and they "chirp-chirp" call customer support and get the firmware update for the cameras. Great first camera system.

WIFI system does not work all the time.

I purchased this system a few months ago, and I've had issues ever since.
The cameras are great and give a good picture for it being 2K. However, the batteries loose charge rather quickly despite the fact that I spent extra for the solar panels to aid in recharging. Once the camera looses it's charge, the owner must remove the battery and recharge it with the provided charging cord. I have each of these solar panels in direct sunlight and the charging indicator is on, but they don't provide enough power to keep the batteries recharged. The construction of the solar panels are good, but the mounting bracket does not allow for the user to lock it into place, and is easily moved by a good breeze, thus I am constantly realigning these panels for optimum efficiency. There is a swivel joint at the base of the panel, which does not provide enough holding power and is flimsy and weak. Presently, I have only one out of four cameras working.
I chose this Wi-Fi system because it appeared to be a good system for my home and for easy of operation. I also viewed a few YouTube videos that showed theses cameras and solar panels in action, but it did not show them in use for more that a few days.
I do regret getting this system, and will probably just throw them away and buy (again) a wired system. If I were to give any advice to a person looking to buy this system, I would direct them away from this Wi-Fi and encourage them to choose a wired system. The effort in installing a wired system will provide a system that will be 3x more reliable and maintenance will be cut down by a factor of 10.

Not worth it

The nite vision is only good if there is another light on we have to leave are porch light on at night to get any color if not you can't see anything the picture quality is ok it doesn't always pick up motion no matter what settings I have on and the battery life doesn't last but 3 days so that being said very unhappy with the cameras.

Lorex 2K Wire Free System

Decent system for the money. Still working on a few bugs, when I hook a solar panel up to a camera, it gives the battery inserted beep, intermittently. I have not had any luck fixing that issue.

camera doesn't work.

got camera as a replacement for one that is less than 2 years old. charged battery fully. Paired camera, it will only work in a 10 foot radius. My other camera was 100 ft. away and worked fine. I'm stuck with this less than great system. customer service is nonexistent.
