[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is actually the 2nd AeroCart I have bought. I got one over a year ago for my son when he purchased his first home. Listening to him rave about it got me to finally decide to get one for myself. The best feature is that pretty much all of the functions are onboard all the time. And the few features that aren't, like the leaf trash bag holder and bracket for moving round items, connect easily. I know I wondered if I really needed all the things it does, but now I wonder why I waited so long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase this product six or seven years ago. It has worked out very well but I somewhat abused the product. It has been left out in the rain, used to haul anything from tree branches to metal bolts. In time the the bed has chipped and rusted. I sanded it repainted it but it would be nice to have some sort of rubber liner to protect it. Any thoughts on that.

Great Ideas - Poor Construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rely on critical feedback in my profession and therefore take it seriously when providing a product review. I initially planned on returning this unit but ultimately didn't want to repack it and deal with taking a wheelbarrow-sized box back to a shipping service company.
Pros: The Aerocart has some great features. - The bag holder is great when picking up leaves, grass clippings, etc. - The dolly cart was super convenient moving big potted plants - The ability to quickly change from a wheelbarrow to a cart is a nice touch
Cons: My biggest complaint with the Aerocart is with the quality of construction. - The foam-wrapped handles were shredded on the first day of use. They didn't make it through the first half of the first day. - The cotter pins to hold the wheels on popped off more than once requiring me to purchase more - The leg post caps continue to pop off during use and if you don't pay attention you'll lose them - Rock/plant mover arms do not stay in place and hop around when not in use. I found it best to completely remove this bracket when not using it - The welds for the wheel housing look very weak and I suspect they will break with significant use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking for more than a wheelbarrow for yardwork and found this. Well built with multiple functions and uses. I did reverse the handles as some suggested due to hitting the ground when hauling.

This yard cart is solid and versatile

I've been doing a lot of yard work lately. It was usually a few trips up and down the yard to get the branches into the firewood pile and the dog toys on the porch before mowing. I never thought of getting a yard cart until I came across an ad from Worx and it caught my eye. After a few weeks of thinking about it, I pulled the trigger to see if this solved problems that I didn't even know I had.
I really had no idea what I was ordering. I watched videos and read the reviews. Until I went to lift that box up off the front porch and suddenly felt bad for the delivery guy because of the weight of the box, I didn't understand that this is a heavy duty yard cart. It looking nice was just a plus. I had it assembled in less than 15 minutes. You really can switch between dolly and wheelbarrow mode in seconds.
First selling point that stuck in my brain when I read about the Aerocart was paper lawn bag holder. It works great. No more trying to keep the paper bags open or accidentally tearing them. The height is adjustable too.
Wheelbarrow mode works as expected. The body is a little narrower than wheelbarrows I've had in the past, but having two wheels with a wide base makes is so much easer to maneuver. After a bad storm, I throw my saw in it and wander the yard collecting branched. As I mentioned, I use it collect the dog toys and instead of having the pile on the porch, I just dump them back in the yard when I am done mowing. There were two really old flower boxes made of brick on mortar in the backyard my wife has wanted gone for years. Now that I had a cart to haul the bricks away in, I finally have them cleared. Once they were gone, my wife wanted the big plastic planters with the tomatoes in them where the bricks were. So I got to use the plant mover and again, works as advertised.
To be honest, I never thought I would use the dolly mode. It was the one feature that I questioned would work. It's a little tough to get it to slide in place and I didn't think it would hold the weight it said it would because folds. How strong could it be? Then this past weekend, our 14-year-old washer broke beyond repair. We picked up an in-stock model at a local appliance store. My son and I needed to move 250 lbs. out of my house, down 6 stairs, and across the very uneven back yard to the alley for pickup. Then move 250 lbs. back the same way because the gate from the front of the house was too narrow for the washer. I was a little worried because I didn't have straps to secure the washer to the dolly. We used an old towel to keep the wheels in place while tilting back and that worked great. Once the washers were off the ground and resting on the dolly, it was very stable. At one awkward and narrow corner I thought we were going to clear, my son had to clean things out of the way. He had the handle end. Because of the tight space, I told him leave it up in the air while I held it. With those big wheels, I just kept guiding it slowly forward around the corner from the back end while he worked quickly. Going down stairs was easy. Going up, the bottom stair was higher than the rest (really old house), but pitting a 2x4 on the ground gave us enough height to get us over it. These stairs are tall 2x10's with no kickplates, so if we went a little too low the wheelbarrow brace would catch. The reason we started crouching so low was to grip those triangle grips on the handles and keep the weight as far back as we could. Those grips were perfect for that and I felt comfortable the whole time. I just needed to angle myself a little higher. The new washer had a towel between it and the dolly and it never slid. In the end, it worked great.
Storing it is also nice because I store it on dolly mode. With the dolly plate up, it stands up in the shed against the wall and out of the way. So, in the end, getting an Aerocart was worth it and my yard is looking great. I'm a big believer in having the right tool for the job and for yard work, that's the Aerocart.

By far, this is the most awesome tool I've ever purchased. Well made, excellently engineered, easy to use, sturdy, and oh so useful! Putting it together was a breeze, too. I'm 72, and in the process of helping my 92 year old mom move. Even though it's just the two of us, we two grannies can do it all with our Aerocart. I can't sing its praises loudly enough. Thank you, Worx.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this cart years ago, can't even say how many, has to be over 8 or 9 though. I use it almost daily, especially in heating heason. I'm a "senior" and it's the only cart I can handle for bringing in wood to heat the house in these brutal Adirondack winters. I noticed a few days ago the wheel bearings were gone. I went to customer service chat only to find out that these parts are not available. I said if the whole wheels aren't too horribly expensive, could I possibly get those instead. They aren't available at this time either. Yup, I am pretty upset. I can't really afford a whole new cart right now so not sure what I will do. Will look for some generic cheap wheels that might fit temporarily. :-(
