I have a lot of trees around my house that are constantly losing leaves. Those leaves are landing on my roof and eventually end up in my gutters, or they are accumulating on my patio. They are a constant problem. A neighbor recommended the Worx brand. I am so happy I made this purchase. I love the fact that I can mulch the leaves and use them around my existing landscape. It sure beats sweeping!
It is a little on the heavy side but there is a strap to help lighten the load.

Fantastic Product

I brought this leaf blower about 4 months ago and I use it for everything. Not only do I use it to clean the pavement, but I us it as a fertilizer distributor for my long Florida sweet grass, paint drier and screen cleaner, etc...Its adjustability makes it a fantastic All-n-One product.

Works well with the WA4054.2 leaf collection syste

I purchased this with the WA4054.2 leaf collection system. I was happy that the WA4054.2 hose coupling connects directly to the WG518 with a 1/4 twist without having to use the adapter. I bought this for the mulching function and have not really used as a blower. I already have another blower which I use to blow the leaves into a loose pile, then use this to suck them up, mulch them, and deliver them into a lined garbage can. It is very easy to convert this from blower to mulcher, but since I already had a blower, it is just more convenient for me to skip that step.
As a mulcher, this thing works well. It is very strong, so I use it in Low most of the time to avoid sucking up heavier objects. This also seems to reduce clogging the tube. Every once in a while something will jam the turbine. But, it is very easy to remove the tube and remove the object (just remember to disconnect power first). I have not noticed any damage to the turbine thus far from object other than leaves.
I have not used the included bag, but I imagine that it would need to be emptied very frequently.

Two handed power

I purchased this product because of its described power and metal air/mulch blade. It is powerful enough that she blower actually is unstable and may require some people to use two hands to control it. Other than is power the unit is satisfactory and performs well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
