WG509 Under performer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here is my feedback on the Workx WG509.
ASSEMBLY - Assembly was quick and easy to the provides instructions. No problems.
BALANCE - The balance could have been better. Your arm gets tired quickly holding the unit. A second grip would help considerable.
POWER SWITCH - Very hard to operate. I could not operate the switch with gloves on. It is usually cold here when it is time to do the leaves. Some ladies might not be able to operate the switch with or without gloves.
BLOWING - The unit does not provide the same blowing power as my 60 year old leave blower, even with the speed control set to maximum. Blowing is rather cumbersome with the blowing tube mounted under and shorter, than the vacuum tube. The weight of the unit hard to hold up to blow the leaves. Once again, a second grip would be a great help.
VACUUMING - The vacuum function is very good when the speed control is set to maximum. Not so good at lower speeds.
MULCHING - The mulching function is excellent. Dry leaves are ground into very small pieces.

Bought my WORX electric blower / mulched about a month ago. San 201516006169. WG518. 160/250mph. I can't believe it's not been recalled. Used once. The tiny plastic motor mounts snaped off. Cheaply made. What a sad outcome.

My husband is very hard to please. He's very energetic and always working outside; so he's always using some tool. Most anything has 'flaws', but I finally struck gold. He loves, absolutely loves his leaf blower, mulcher/vacuum. He's out there every day finding new projects to use it for. Thank you, thank you!!

I resisted the need for such tools , Thinking them to not be up for my kind of cleaning up. Ending up hanging on the "Wall of regret"….But alas! A tool that's Light, easy to convert and ambidextrious to my needs….I stand corrected and thank Worx for including me in their development ideas.

I just bought a second one of these so that I have one for the barn and one for the garage.
They are light to carry, do a great job, are high quality, and are economical.

I absolutely LOVE my worx blower. I use it every other day for something! Great for blowing leaves out of gutters and suckING wood ashes out of my trager. Love it. Highly recommend
