depth adjustement breaks easily

The depth adjustment/edge guide is pretty flimsy and of little use. Mine broke and I cannot remove it because the bracket is between the blade shroud and the motor assembly, and cannot be reached with a wrench. I may have to hacksaw it off as it hangs down and interferes with edgeing.

Honestly I've been a customer for 10+ years. Every product I've ever bought has used the same size battery. To pull these edger out of the box and find out it's a plug in ?? I'm sure I can trust worx again. Even the picture on the box it comes in the plug-in is blurred out.

Hello There!
Thank you for sharing your experience and review! Worx produces both electric and battery operated tools! You can always tell which is which by the battery powered tools always being measured in volts and electric tools will be measured in amps. We do produce a battery powered edger, I have provided the link below.
From the first time I used it the blade came loose so from then on I just tightened it before use. After a year of using it on my small yard the tabs that the screws holding the raising and lowering mechanism screw into both broke off with no way to fix it. So I have to buy a new edger and it certainly won’t be anything made by worx!!!
