[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a bit to get used. It had somewhat of a chemically type aftertaste. Not perfect, but real close to the real thing.
It captures the iconic citrusy and refreshing taste that Mountain Dew is known for, while also offering the benefits of a diet beverage. The balance of sweetness and tanginess is just right, making it a delightful choice for those who enjoy a carbonated drink without the guilt of excessive calories.
Used with a SodaStream it tastes like Diet Mountain Cabin or whatever the store brand is called. Used with sparkling mineral water it tastes like a grown up version of one of my favorite fizzy drinks.

It is easy to add the right amount of syrup using the top of the bottle. This tastes so much like the Diet Mountain Dew that you can buy by the can or bottle. It's so convenient to make my own at home. I don't have to worry about returning cans or bottles.

Okay drink mix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I am not the biggest fan of regular Mountain Dew, I thought I’d enjoy this mix for the diet so that I could make it with my Soda Stream. Even pouring to the ‘light sweetness’ level, it was extremely sweet, almost to the point where I couldn’t drink it and my husband had to finish it. The actual soda itself is better, this didn’t taste quite right to me.
