[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had a Mountain Dew in years and do not drink diet sodas or any diet drinks due to that artificial sweetener taste that I cannot stand. However I decided to give this a fair shot. The bottle comes with very clear instructions on how to prepare it and the inside cap has some markers to determine the level of sweetness that you could choose. However, the markers weren't very easy to see. I mixed mine at the second level and it was not bad. Yes I could taste that artificial sweetener but it was more toleranle than an actual diet soda. Is this something I would repurchase, no. Is this something I would recommend to some trying to get their diet Dew fix, absolutely.

GREAT flavor for diet soda

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first day I tried this I actually double checked the bottle to make sure they didn’t send me the regular Mt. Dew. Normally diet sodas have a flavor profile that’s a little “off” to me, so I tend to steer clear. While I noticed that flavor a little bit in subsequent times making it, it’s still a far cry from normal diet sodas. Even my fiancé agrees it tastes closer to the real thing than most diet sodas do. The only thing to be cautious of is this drink mix needs to be stored in the fridge after being opened. I have other sodastream flavors and they say to store at room temp, so I almost missed that. I wish the print advising to store in the fridge was a little bit bigger on the bottle since it differs from other mixes.
