Poor Battery Life No Solution Available

I bought 3 of these bikes. The bikes themselves are good quality bikes but the battery life is way too low. I want to order a 8ah battery but from what I have researched you cannot because you won't be able to close the battery compartment. Several of my buddies bought e bikes and mine dies everytime we ride and everyone else's battery lives are more than half when mine dies. Now I own 3 of these all with the same issue. Not happy at all. Hope someone will reach out to me with a solution. Thanks

We are happy to hear you are happy with the bike and its quality. Yes, you are correct, due to size, an 8Ah battery will prevent the battery compartment from closing. We recommend using only a 4Ah or 5Ah 80V batteries. We hope this clarification helps. We are sorry to hear you are not happy with the run time you are getting with the battery. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] other than the seat could be a little more comfortable, and the power /control pad could use a backlight. its a fantastic bike. its a good size bike. im 6'2" and its almost too big for me to get on. The throttle gives a smooth accleration. its been years since ive rode a bike but this bike gave a nice ride. If you're thinking of getting this i highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so I'm mechanically challenged and the bike took a couple hours to get together but overall I'm pleased with the performance. Good beginner ebike and possible to pedal without assistance. Battery life may be a bit shorter than competitors at same price point but the motor is powerful and I trust the Greenworks battery to last. Could use a few less Greenworks logos and the brakes squeak a bit but I purchased at 50% off retail. Competitors are offering a free battery and longer warranty, free shipping so may be worth shopping first unless on sale.
