Hello Mainer81.
Thank you for reaching out to us. If you have tried the following step and they do not yield results, we urge you to contact us by Chat on www.greenworkstools.com or by phone 1-888-909-6757. All we ask is you have the unit with you at the time of contact so we can help you best!
Troubleshooting Steps.
1. Cleaning Obstructed Nozzles: To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to fail to function normally.
2. Removing Air from The Line / Bleeding Out the Unit: Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit.
3. Make sure the water source is fully opened and is at least 45 PSI. There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure.
We hope these suggestions help! If they do not please contact us by Chat or phone, we would like the opportunity to speak with you to see if we can find a solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this yesterday. I am not at all mechanically inclined however watching a YouTube video, I was able to assemble this product in about 15 minutes! The written instructions are pretty good, but since my skill level is so low, I felt a video would help. Now off to learn how to use it!! Never used one before!

Quit after an Hour of Use

Fresh out of the box, it ran for about an hour when the motor continuously revved up and down, water sprayed out without pulling the trigger, and sometimes didn't when it was pulled, then it lost enough power to no longer work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned three pressure washers in my life and this by far is the best value for the money and size. I’ve got a log house, in Oregon that needs constant cleaning along with several all-terrain vehicles that need heavy-duty cleaning. This little unit is ideal for the big jobs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this pressure washer for my birthday and it has been very nice! It is very easy to use and very quiet. I use it all the time to wash my mowing equipment and around the house to wash things. It has easy quick connect nozzles so you can change the nozzle degree and it came with a quick connect kit for the hoses and wand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this and the assembly went pretty straightforward. Good instructions. My wife bought this to wash our house and I see no reason why it would not fit the bill. Nice to see quality in workmanship in this day and age.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this for a month. Best pressure washer 3000 psi product line out there in comparison to 3 other brands I’ve tested. I gain up to 2700 realistic psi using the 15 degree tip.

Worked for 45 seconds, and then broke.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pressure washer stopped working literally 45 seconds into using it for the very first time. I had been comparing electric pressure washers for weeks, and finally decided on this one. I'd seen a few other reviews that said the electric motor gave out, but there are so many 5 star reviews I thought those must be rare. Unfortunately it seems like it's a common issue.
The unit has power (power light is on) the GFCI protection is not tripped, I have the hose hooked up and supplying water, but the motor is not running, and not creating any pressure whatsoever. It worked fine for about 45 seconds, then shut off. I was never able to get it to come back on, even after waiting an hour. What a waste of time and money this was.
Pros: Quiet

Hello LastTimeCustomer

We are sorry to hear about this issue! Often, this would be caused by a faulty nozzle, or the unit not being bled of excess air in the line. Here is some troubleshooting below! Be sure to try all steps as described.
1) Clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to malfunction.
2) Purge any excess air from the pump.
3) Ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 45 PSI.
4) Be sure to try ALL nozzles!
If this issue persists, please contact us directly by Live Chat or by phone at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) so they can properly evaluate and resolve.
