Piece of garbage

Brother toner products are a bunch of garbage my toner cartridge began low toner alert at 300 pages and the initial cartridge n the printer did less than 100 pages before low toner warning came on I would highly recommend buying any other printer for simple printing

Awful! unless you only print once a month!

I'm surprised no one mentioned the fact that you CANNOT collate on this cheap printer! When you make 20 copies of a 3 page document and you have to manually collate, it is not enjoyable and complete waste of my time. And it only prints 1200 pages per cartridge, we need a cartridge every 2 weeks. In 2 months, we could have bought a good printer. If it weren't for our corporate people buying this printer, I would never have chosen it! We have several and we purchase 10 cartridges each month.

Toner yield is in hundreds not thousands

this toner came with my new HL-L2465DW, and had to be replaced after only 193 pages. I was sure that it was printer error, but after printing a few small documents, the print started to fade, indicating the toner actually was starting to run out. This was shocking to me as a long time Brother user - im used to toners lasting a year, not less than a week.

We understand your Brother HLL2465DW cartridge did not last long. We'd like to help. The stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The starter toner cartridge included with the machine will yield approximate 700 pages, however, the number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge. Our new high performing premium toner is great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased my Brother MFC-L2900DW and had to get the Brother TN830 toner cartridge for best performance and I am happy to get it, here are a few of the reasons.
First, it arrived well packaged, out of the box it is ready to be installed. As for its installation, it is easy to pull the old one out and replace it with this new one. The toner even comes with easy to understand instructions just in case and they are clear and easy to follow.
The print quality is premium; it shows sharp prints on both graphics as well as text so they look professional each time. I do not see any fading, or smudges on the prints even when printing multiple or both side documents.
The TN830 cartridge offers a yield of up to 1200 pages so it is perfect for our small office and I can check the life of the toner right from my printer, my computer and even from my phone using the Brother Application.
I am happy with the toner results; it is reliable and consistent on each print even when we are busy.
I think next time we will try the TN830XL because it has a higher yield and for now we are happy with the TN830 toner with its performance.
Overall, we are impressed with the Brother TN830 toner cartridge because it prints in good quality, it is reliable and it has been working well with our Brother MFC-L2900DW printer, and it works with other printers as well.

High quality prints and easy to replace the toner.

I got my printer and it came with toner but I think it is a sample because it did not last as long as this one is. This one has been printing well, good quality. The toner came with instructions but it is very easy to replace anyway. The TN830 XL has a higher yield but for now I think the TN830 works great for us.
I really like how clear the prints are, even the two sided prints look great.
