Poor quality control

After the first use the line spool started to fall off. Then my wife noticed that there were holes where screws should have been, looks like would be used to hold the spool on. Looked in the box.... but no screws. Now I have a useless unit.
Other than that the unit is very light and easy to use, while it worked.

Truly love this lightweight design, just right for my older sometimes unsteady hands, but I noticed that none of the other people with problems are getting their questions answered either, can't control the string output.

Built for short people

My husband is 6' 3" and the handle is not long enough. He has to stoop over to trim the grass. He got this as a father's day gift a couple of years ago and stopped using it. It has been in our shed ever since. Today he finally dragged it out and it was NOT an enjoyable experience. You would think there would be better adjustments other than to make it shorter. Off to find a better brand than this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this the beginning of last summer. It worked real good until it didnt work any more when i tried to use it the beginning of this summer. The switch in the trigger section trips and shuts down. Only works for a half second. Once in a while after 15 or so clicks it will run for about 2-3 seconds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and have used it 3 times. On the third time, the spool it came with fell off and could not be used again. The spool was only about 8 inches and the replacement spool was not sold at the same store. I am not happy that it was not a full spool and should be specified on the box rather than state that the spool is included. It is a one time use or until it breaks. Put in a complaint at the store and said go buy it online and can't help with included spool.

Pretty good tool for most areas but not so much on the thicker stuff. Worth the price and less expensive than other brands.

This is by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Last June I purchased a 3 tool kit. I couldn’t get my products registered the system was down for like a month. I repeatedly sent emails and after a few responses telling me the system is being updated I still never got my products registered. Now the trimmer handle has been broke the entire time. I didn’t believe my son when he told me since it was the first time he used it but had to weedeat myself and the bar will not stay together like it’s missing something. So last Friday I call and they conveniently return my call 5 minutes before close she was leaving the message when I grabbed it and immediately called back and they were already closed. Yesterday phone was not available, so I attempted chat and it would say 38 minutes 45 minutes then 53 minutes but after each attempt I would receive an email telling me the chat was ended I never got to speak to anyone. It continued to show to be loading but no connection. Sometimes it was the same time initiated or a couple minutes later. I called at 9:30 this morning for my call to be returned in the order received snd got a call back that I missed and of course now I can’t get back in touch again. I need this equipment replaced as it’s under warranty. I’ve literally NEVER dealt with a worse company. I won’t ever buy this brand again.

I loved my product but the cap cover broke and I need a cap that was designed for WG119 and I do not see one for this item
