It works!

I've only used it once for about an hour.
I trimmed against the house, and cut very short to <1" grass growing in (covering a lot of) my gravel driveway. It performed much like other trimmers I've had, and (after reading trimmer line issues in other reviews) had no line problems after being properly conscious about feeding the line. I actually couldn't tell that it used much.

The line does not advance automatically. I have to stop, open the bottom and pull it every few minutes!!

Bought this when I decided to do my own landscaping. It is a powerful and well built machine. Seems to handle all tasks, edging trimming and even scalping equally well. While it is a tad heavier than my older unit, and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, it seems to be built much more robustly. Particularly like the ability to twist the head for edging.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this trimmer for light duty, considering the low cost with low quality, boy was I ever wrong! The 5.5 amp motor is stronger than some gas trimmers I have used. The adjusting handle and head makes many weed eating tasks almost enjoyable. The light weight is great for tall weeds and long jobs. Great product... every home owner should have one! Great job WORX!!
