Light Weight

I am a small person and have difficulty handling the gas trimmers. This one is light enough to use for long periods of time. This is the third one I have purchased over the last 18 years.

Love Weedwacking and Edging now

This trimmer is wonderful. Never thought I would enjoy weed whacking until now. I would highly recommend this. I can get through such high and tough weeds and brush. This thing will cut through anything and it does it so fast that it cuts my work time in half. The string does not jam or break even when I hit something really hard. It feeds by itself. I tried the battery one but my yard is so big that it was not enough to do the whole yard. This think is just wonderful. I hit one of my rose bushes by accident and it had some thick branches and it was gone... it's okay I have plenty more and I should have had the metal guard out and this would not have happened but this just tells you that this trimmer has some serious power to it. It is not heavy but when doing a large yard anything feels heavy after a while so I bought a shoulder strap and now it is fine. The edger didn't do as well as I would like but I used the trimmer sideways and it put a wonderful edge everywhere, I even did the driveway and wanted to do the neighbors but I stopped myself :) Small yard, big yard, neighbors yard :) this trimmer will handle anything.

great for back surgery patients but downfall is no

downfall is no available placement spools. I have had back surgery twice and this is lightweight but I still have to stop often especially if it is really hot out due to other health problems. I guess I am going to have to figure out how to buy the correct replacement string and restring it myself as I cannot find a replacement spool anywhere. What is up with that one? It is wwhat it is and it's inexpensive

Frustrating product - underperforms

Bought the 6 amp 120v electric version of this trimmer almost 2 years ago after getting frustrated with Black and Decker models that broke down, Have experienced multiple times when the factory wound sting come out too far and gets caught in the housing that rotates. Now, the original screw that holds in the safety guard has gone missing (fell out) and I cannot find any spec that would help me determine a replacement. Its too bad - this trimmer has some features that are potentially innovative, but it fails to live up to expectations with functional problems.

Thank you for your review. The screw used to secure the safety guard in place is a 3/4“ #6 Pan head screw and can be purchased at any hardware store.

Easy to Use

This Trimmer is easy to use and works like a horse even though it's electric, I can adjust it to my size, and move the handle where I need it, I can use a long electric cord with it if needed and it works the same as a smaller cord, no loss of power. I am very pleased as it also takes on harder weeds that we get around our 2 very large yards from the woods around us. It also is easier to change the string spool also, no fighting to get it open. Just Love It, Thank You for making a great product (for us older folks)

Great Design

Once upon a time as a child I used electric gardening products and am quite accustomed to maneuvering around the extension chord. With that, I am very impressed with the ease of handling and the power of this machine. Here in Texas some of the weeds are pretty tough, this trimmer has no problem even with .065 string. Took me a few tries to get the hang of the re-string mechanism, but I'm on board with it now.

Thank you for taking your time to share your feedback. We have the spools available for sale through customer service and there's also online retailers that sell the spools. For our electric trimmer they take a different size spool and its a dual line feed. You can find the spools under its model number WA0007.
