Really nice grill. Cooks pretty evenly. Only issue grease misses catch pan and drips down propane bottle puddling on the cabinet floor at the bottle. Mainly like the stainless grids.
many small improvements make this a winning choice

I finally decided to retire my Weber Genesis grill that I purchased in 2008. I grill several days a week in a covered deck all year round. I found my new Weber Genesis looked very similar but was better built and had many small improvements that make it a clear winner. The lid closes more smoothly with a quiet drop. The tank is located in a location that is much easier to access. The knobs feel more secure and click closed. The narrower steel grill do a better job than the thicker ones on my old grill and have more even searing. Overall many small improvements "under the hood" make for a much better grill and I am very pleased with the upgrade.
The entire unit feels better built and more stable.
Lower cabinet is opened is accessible to the weather. When there is a hard driving rain the aluminum grease tray over fills with rainwater and the grease gets all over the bottom of the cabinet and than the grease overspills onto the patio.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic Grill. I really enjoyed the instructions on how to put it together, including the app BILT that can be downloaded from their site and gives you a video audio step-by-step how to instructions. I love the EasyStart and the way it grills everything.
Easily affected by a breeze. Hard to ignite all three burners at the same time initially.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the Genesis S-315. Your satisfaction is very important to us. We are here to help. When lighting the grill we recommend lighting one burner at a time because they each have an independent igniter. It is not recommend to light them all at the same time. Our Care team will be reaching out to follow up. Please look for our outreach soon. Thank you!
DO NOT BUY A WEBBER. ISSUE WITH HEATING & GAS LEAK

Generally well designed and manufactured. One problem. The fasteners for connecting the floor pan of the cabinet are of the plastic push on type and not a metal bolt and nut type. I replaced the 4 fasteners with bolt and nuts to give it added durability.
