I love this grill. I have been getting cheaper brands for 20 years replacing them every 2-3 years. This grill seems much sturdier and gets much hotter and more evenly.
So I got the gift of a grill 15 years ago it was a seats special... it did me fine for years. Then it began to fall apart and it was time fore new. My wife wanted me to look at several before we went over to the Weber grills. I never noticed how cheap they are all built. It was night and day from the thin cheap metal frames to the slighly thicker tops. I saw the Weber grills and was sold just had to decide which. The 3 or 4 burner was my thinking and price tags were the her issue. Eventually we picked the E-315 becuase it had a bigger cooking surface and didnt have the mostly usless to me side burner. That night I got it put together and found out the difference. I can't recall the first thing I cooked but the one thing I do is bratwurst. We were cooking 2 packs since we had some unexpected company but alas we only had 1 thawed out. In the last 15 years I have been unable to thaw and cook brats in any cooktop usually we just split them down the middle to cook the centers. This time 1 pack frozen on the right side 1 pack left. There was a short delay with the frozen but if it was minutes I'd be surprised, oh and we still cook the middles it gives them a bit of a crunch.
I have only had the grill for a month. Works great. But I expect this to be the last grill I ever purchase. I bought my first Weber propane grill over 20 years ago. It’s still going strong. I have replaced the grate and flavor bars but the burners are still working fine. Even the igniter still works! The new natural gas grill heats up quickly and heat seems to be even across the whole surface. I hope and expect to be as happy with this grill in 10 years as I am today
