This grill replaced a same series grill that was destroyed in the Eaton Fire. Flame/temperature control is very good. Assembly was easy. If the quality level is equal to my former grill (which I expect it is), this grill should last for years. For us, the 300 series provides ample cooking surface for our needs.
I have really enjoyed my new Weber grill. I have had a Weber grill for over 35 years - this is my 3rd gas grill to buy. This model is a little harder to keep an even temperature across the entire surface. I like to sear on one side of the grill then finish heating with indirect heat. I am still learning how to cook on this grill but everything I have cooked so far, has turned out fabulous - steaks, baked potatoes, chicken, hambergers, pizza, peach cobbler....etc.
This grill is the most expensive grill i have purchased and so far is worth every penny spent. Very well made and with the additional purchase of the griddle it has made this grill versatile for my grilling needs.
This is my 2nd Weber natural gas, buying the same 3 burner, however it burns significantly hotter. Some meats require low and slow cooking, so I'm left with trying to lessen the gas pressure coming out of the wall. Also, all of the marketing labels left ghost residue on the stainless steel. Weber needs to get with their pressure sensitive label vendors to change the adhesive. Finally, Weber needs to go back to their old grill covers that were sturdy. The new ones are flimsy.
Grill works much better then my old spirit , only received 3 starts because it does not have a tank scale to show how much gas is left in tank ! Every Weber I’ve owed over last 20 years has included this nice little feature. Being a higher end model grill then the spirt grill I’m disappointed it doesn’t have one.
I would recommend this to a friend!
