This is our fourth Weber grill in 26 years. Would only be the third if we hadn’t opted for gas instead of charcoal. We just wear them out with use but I wouldn’t buy the cheaper grills. Essentially the gas grills lasted almost 12 years each so we’ve gotten our moneys worth out of every one of them.
I really like the grill but had a small problem with the one of the burners not lighting. Called Weber and together we got it fixed. A matter of things were not lined up quite right. Works great now
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve owned Weber grills for 40 years … I am disappointed with my most recent Genesis Grill purchase … the quality is slipped dramatically from my last purchase 5-7 years ago; the grill is not well built and robust, but lighter in weight and “cheaper”. Weber grills used to be the best available, seems that other manufacturers are now offer better products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had many different grills and several Weber's over the years, and the Weber Genesis have been my favorite. Generally, I use the grill several times a week almost year-round and have enjoyed the Weber products.
I use my Weber Genesis about 2 to 3 times a week and it cooks great. This is my second Genesis which I bought in December of 2023. My first Genesis lasted about 11 years and the frame and body of the grill were still in good condition when I decided to replace it. The only negative item that has appeared on the new Genesis is paint chipping off because of underlying rust on the base of the frame. I keep a cover on my Weber so I'm a bit concerned about the rust development. Other than that, very happy.
