We well worth the money. We always were hesitant to spend the extra money thinking all grills were the same, and Weber would just last longer. We then used an older Genesis at an Airbnb and we're very impressed with how well it's condition was, how easy that stainless grates were to clean, and how perfectly even the flames were in the burners - no more uneven cooking and long cleaning process, and nothing was rotting out at all. It also heats up very fast, we used to only have 4-6 burner grills thinking bigger was better, but this 3 burner has more than enough heat and preheats very fast. We then upgraded for a new one at our house, ditching other brands stainless steel versions.
I’ve owned several top brands of gas grills over the past 30+ years and the Weber Genesis checks every box. Well built, cooks evenly, and will last a lifetime with proper maintenance.
Grilling efficiency A+. ever thing else F. Currently had older genesis series which I rebuilt twice before it to the point I couldn't. Bought this unit which does the basic grilling part very well BUT, you put the tank inside of the unit making it way harder to change and took away half the storage capacity. In addition you removed the customer friendly weight sensitive mounting that told you how much gas was left so I had to go and buy a third party gauge at an additional expense (which you don't offer). Furthermore you added a brace to the floor pan (not present in the older model) which effectively cuts the remaining storage space in half again. I guess you have gone the way of every other US manufacturer that needs to cut cost without regards how it affects the consumer. In that regard I am positive this review will not be responded to but at least I feel better getting this of my chest.

Why wouldn’t you have a measurement to show how much propane is left??

I have been purchasing Weber grills exclusively for more than 30 years. Always stainless steel when available due to their durability and great functionality. This years model, however, which is only a few weeks old is already pitting on the SS shelves and they seem, to be of a lighter gauge that scratches easily compared to the prior versions.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We are surprised to learn you are not experiencing even heat across the grill! We apologize for the inconvenience and we are here to assist you.
When preheating the grill on the high setting, we expect the temperature to reach 450-500F easily. Allowing the grill to preheat on high for 10-15 minutes should always result in even heat.
