We well worth the money. We always were hesitant to spend the extra money thinking all grills were the same, and Weber would just last longer. We then used an older Genesis at an Airbnb and we're very impressed with how well it's condition was, how easy that stainless grates were to clean, and how perfectly even the flames were in the burners - no more uneven cooking and long cleaning process, and nothing was rotting out at all. It also heats up very fast, we used to only have 4-6 burner grills thinking bigger was better, but this 3 burner has more than enough heat and preheats very fast. We then upgraded for a new one at our house, ditching other brands stainless steel versions.
my grill was delivered, and the igniter didn't work, the website provides a virtual assistant, not a person. I went through all the trouble shooing requirements, and every time was asked to do something else, and each time I had to repeat over and over all the steps I have already taken. I finally just sent the grill back to Lowes where I purchased it. Then Weber sent me control knobs???? I never mentioned controls knobs in any of my correspondence. Then after I returned the grill, they sent me TWO igniters, one with wires another without wires.

We're saddened to hear that you returned the grill, but we hope you will still consider Weber for your future grilling needs. Thank you!
My first Weber lasted 10 years. After moving I purchased the Genesis model and it does not measure up to the old Weber Grills

We wanted a nice grill that would last and look good for years. However, after only a couple months, we started getting pitting and rust on the stainless steel. We thoroughly clean it before and after, and it is kept covered. When you pay over $1000 for a grill, i would expect better quality, or we would have bought a cheap one. After calling Weber, they would not do anything about it, as it doesn't affect how it operates. If you want something that stays looking nice, i would get a cheaper one. At least then you can get a new one every few years if you have to. I have an old charlbroil that is over 20 years old, sitting outside and not covered that has very little rust on the stainless steel. So something that is more expensive doesn't mean better quality. Very disappointed.

I have purchased Weber grills on several occasions over the years. One of the main motivating reasons has been the scale that continuously weighs the propane tank so one knows when you are about to run out of propane. All my previously owned grills had this feature. I was VERY disappointed that my new grill did not have this feature. Were you just trying to save a few bucks?

I’ve owned several top brands of gas grills over the past 30+ years and the Weber Genesis checks every box. Well built, cooks evenly, and will last a lifetime with proper maintenance.
Weber cheapened the product parts including discontinuing the gauge that told how much propane remains in the tank by weight.

I bought this brand-new Weber grill to use this summer. I used it once, and after that the propane regulator hose began leaking. Weber ordered a new one under warranty, but weeks later, I still didn’t have it. I called and they said it would be shipped in a couple of days with upgraded 2-day shipping. That was 2 days ago, and it still hasn’t been sent. Also, when I spoke with them a few days ago, I asked for a supervisor to call me since I’m basically missing the whole summer with my new grill. They said I would receive a call within 24-48 hours. That also didn’t happen. Now I’m on hold with them again and just waiting and waiting.
