Weber did a great job improving the design of the Genesis. I especially like the sear zone and and storage compartments. I am hoping the durability will match my 15+ year old genesis (that I still own). The one downside is that the side burner wing is a bit flimsy - I'm hesitant to put a full soup/chili pot on it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had to retire my old Weber Summit Gold, 6 cooking burners 1 Smokebox, 1 vertical Rotisserie Burnerand side burner 20 years old. 335- hate the one piece grill, Weber fails to document the accessories in instructions. Takes forever to heat. Positive-I like the real outdoor casters!

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing another Weber grill. We apologize for the disappointment with the instructions. We are also surprised to hear your grill is taking a long time to heat up! We expect it to be above 450F within 10 minutes.

Grill was easy to assemble as it was not available locally I had it delivered. Works as expected and is now my 3rd Weber grill since 1998. My 2 older ones are still being used! Love these products.
Still a quality grill but with some compromises. Compared to our older all SS Genesis this one has less SS and no tank weight scale but does have an additional storage compartment, a side burner, and a sear zone. Yes it was quite a bit more money and you get a few more features but the tank weight feature should have been kept. Less SS isn't a huge difference but the new grill doesn't look quite as nice as the older one.
We did have one problem right out of the box - the lid and body didn't fit correctly, one side of the lid hit on the side of the body and wouldn't close properly. Kudos to Weber - a quick call to support resulted in a new body being shipped right away. Took 30-40 minutes to replace the body and everything work correctly now.
Cooking wise it does just as good as our older Weber and I think you can actually control temperatures more precisely.
I love the S-335 grill! This is my third Weber gas grill over the years and replaces a 20 year old grill we wore out. I love the features on this grill and I could see that Weber had made improvements to the design of the unit since our old one was made. The assembly process was straightforward once I got used to only seeing pictures. I'm also impressed with the quality of the materials used for the S-335. I can tell that it is designed to last for a long time!
The grill definitely was worth the cost. It was well made with quality parts. Putting it together did take a while, so I suggest give yourself plenty of time. It cooks very hot and seems to cook evenly. The side burner works well and has plenty of flame. Overall, I am very happy with it.
Good Grill, beware of defects. I assembled the grill which was pretty simple and easy. The cover came pre-assembled. The lid does not shut without catching on the side bottom portion of the grill. Something is warped or not made to standard. Unfortunately you will have to but the grill and either have it assembled or assemble it yourself to find out if yours is warped. Don't know if this is a known issue. For what I paid, I expect a little more quality.
