I have owned Weber Gas Grills for over 20 years. Never disappointed. This grill is the best. The grates are heavier and the searing station great. We are also very much enjoying the wok holder. I haven’t anything negative to say. Woks wrong with that? Nothing. Weber’s are the best
Have had for about a month now and I’m generally pleased with it’s performance. Gets to a high heat quickly and seems to provide even cooking. The searing option is a nice add, but I don’t get the grill marks when in normal mode. Miss the caste iron grill grates on previous Weber.

I had a previous generation of Genesis for ~15 years that served me well and decided to upgrade to the new version when we moved into a new house that was plumbed for natural gas on the deck. The new grill has all of the hallmarks of a Weber Genesis (quality materials, solidly built, thoughtful features), with a few updates that make it that much better. The new lid (vs. the older generation), takes up significantly less room in back when opening, helping reduce the overall footprint of the grill. The new burner tubes, plus sear-zone, get ripping hot and cook evenly. Tons of storage in this grill as well, and the closed off side storage is a nice touch as well. All in all, great gas grill (compliments my Weber Summit Kamado charcoal grill).
After years of cheep gas grills, I’m never going back this Weber is by far the best quality even cooking gas grill I have ever owned! So much that I bought a q1200 for my camper to replace the 18” Weber kettle!
I would recommend this to a friend!
