Griddle width does not completely fit a Summit FS-

the full-size griddle insert, which is claimed to fit the Genesis 300 and Summit grills, and the Weber website offered it as a purchase add-on option when I bought the FS-38 Summit grill. The griddle only covers four of the five burners, which was a surprise and not what I would consider a full-size griddle for the Summit FS-38.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a very well built heavy duty griddle. Griddle area is much smaller than the outside dimensions. So double check that it’s going to be big enough for your needs.

Does not fit 2025 Spirit 3-burner

The description (and the box!) for this item state it fits a “2016+” Spirit 3-burner. Which logically should include 2025. Only in the checkbox when checking out does it specifically state that 2016+ actually means 2016-2024. This does not fit a 2025 Spirit 3-burner model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The box and website state it is preseasoned and ready to use.
The info in the pamphlet that comes with the product gives instructions to wash with soapy water and season before use.
Which is it!?!? VERY CONFUSING

I am very happy with this griddle insert. It fits my Weber natural gas grill perfectly. The surface works just as one would hope and thus it is easy to make smash burgers and other things without the meat sticking to the surface of the griddle. Here's a little tip for pizza. At 400 degrees, the surface is too hot for a frozen pizza, but what I do is put the pizza on a rack, then at the end, I'll put it directly on the surface to create a crispier crust.
