Best pancakes and bacon we've ever had - honestly! So much nicer to cook bacon outside and not smell up the house. And bacon grease conveniently goes right in to drip pan. Do yourself a favor and order a storage bin to store the grill grates nearby when not in use. I ordered the Weber storage bin and it's perfect and black, unlike most see through storage containers.

The griddle is a great add on by Weber for its grilles. At first I was contemplating another brand but this was less expensive and now I dont have two grilles. It has exceeded my expectations. It holds heat far better on windy days, the food tastes great, clean up is much easier. Highly recommend

I have only used this Griddle twice since I received it, both times have been excellent results.
I am still learning how to properly use the griddle and how to clean and keep the seasoning in tact. The only criticism I have is: There are no printed instructions to reference. Nothing to tell me to visit Weber website (or others) to help me learn how to season and keep the griddle clean.

Griddle insert not compatible with spirit e310

I recently purchased a Spirit e310 grill. I was excited to purchase the grill as I saw that Weber had griddle inserts, essentially making this a two-in-one setup. I purchased the griddle inserts, which had a great deal only to find that it doesn’t fit the grill. As you read the packaging it states that the griddle fits spirit 300 series grills. This appears misleading as my grill is a 300 series yet the griddle insert is too large.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this insert, I really do! But.... Grease management!! If you do not clean out your grill after a bunch of smash burgers, expect a nice grease fire! If Weber can develop a better grease management system for this insert it would be beyond awesome! But again, this thing is great! I have cooked so many things on this insert. Rice dishes, English muffins, chopped cheese, pizza's, Philly cheese steaks....etc!!! You cannot go wrong with this insert and you will not regret it. But please, grease management!!!
