Absolutely fantastic. From breakfast to dinner, you can do everything on it, easy to clean. Only regret is waiting so long to get it. Pancakes, chicken fried rice to salmon. Everything seems to cook perfectly.

Spirit E310 - Grill to Griddle conversion

I decided to convert my 2017 Spirit E310 over to a GRIDDLE!! I rated it 3 of 5 stars because I had to modify my grill to make conversion "perfect". As everyone can image, the amount of liquid grease from a griddle being pushed to the rear opening exceeds what is typical for a grill. The size of the factory opening in the bottom half of the grill does not allow for the drippings to fall well within the edge of main (black removable) drip pan (not the 6x8.5 foil pan). The liquid grease will somehow track around the bottom of that opening edge just enough to fall onto the flat portion of the removable pan. This results in the grease spilling into the bottom of the grill base storage area. I used sheet metal to fabricate an approximate 1" wide apron and attached to the bottom half of the grill using rivets to effectively reduce the opening size. Now all of the grease drippings fall well within the removable drip pan edge. Since the modification, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I’ve been wanting a griddle but not another piece of equipment. This solved the problem and it’s easy to put in or take out of my grill. It’s perfect for burger night or Saturday morning breakfast

The new griddle fits my Genesis well. It’s thoughtfully designed & well made. Seasoning it was easy. My first several times cooking on my new griddle have been very tasty learning experiences.

I would have expected better

Fits nicely on my Weber Spirit E425, but I feel the griddle doesn't get hot enough unless you turn on all four burners on high, many times I only need half the space so it sucks im required to waste gas to use this properly.
Not only that, the opening at the top for grease is in an awful location and gets grease allover the burners and corner ledges instead of letting it fall down the way it should. The buildup is pretty ridiculous. At this price, it's not really acceptable and you may have better luck with a third party insert.
