Fantastic Griddle- Rocks for smash burgers and sautéing items like Fajitas. Really hold the heat and drains away fat. Smooth griddle surface doesn't stick and is easy to clean. Fits grill perfectly.

The griddle has been a nice change for us over the grates. I purchased several things at the exact same time, as a "package" (like the cover for this griddle). It's interesting that each item was shipped separately by the same warehouse and all items arrived at a different time. Being in ecommerce myself, we try hard to ship items together to save the company shipping costs... weird.
I'll update this as we continue to use the griddle over the next few hot summer months if anything else changes.

We like not having burnt food (which the grates would cause dried up burgers or whatever). The griddle does a lot better!

Griddle width does not completely fit a Summit FS-

the full-size griddle insert, which is claimed to fit the Genesis 300 and Summit grills, and the Weber website offered it as a purchase add-on option when I bought the FS-38 Summit grill. The griddle only covers four of the five burners, which was a surprise and not what I would consider a full-size griddle for the Summit FS-38.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Griddle insert not compatible with spirit e310

I recently purchased a Spirit e310 grill. I was excited to purchase the grill as I saw that Weber had griddle inserts, essentially making this a two-in-one setup. I purchased the griddle inserts, which had a great deal only to find that it doesn’t fit the grill. As you read the packaging it states that the griddle fits spirit 300 series grills. This appears misleading as my grill is a 300 series yet the griddle insert is too large.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

False labeling…

I bought this two weeks ago, and just like some other reviewers, I bought it because it specifically said it fit spirit 300 series grills. It does not. And it’s not even close. Can’t say how disappointed I am. This was literally a meal the whole family was looking forward to and now it’s ruined. I can’t fix it because whenever I search for the proper insert it brings me right back here.

Your feedback is very important to us. The full-size Rust-Resistant Griddle Insert is compatible with the older Spirit 3-burner models and the recent Spirit 4-burner models. The griddle insert compatible with the smaller Spirit grills is part number 7658, and the Weber Crafted griddle insert (requires Weber Crafted frame kit). I hope this information helps.
