I really enjoy the griddle insert! It's easy to install and instantly turns your grill into an out door griddle. No need for 2 grills anymore. Absolutely love this thing!

3 weeks in and no rust.

Seasoned 2 or 3 times front to back. Cooked on it 3 times in about 3 weeks and so far no rust. did a huge breakfast this morning starting with bacon and then hash browns and eggs. gotta learn how to zone cook a little better on it. Only issue so far is that the griddle is not balanced to drain to the rear. I will either have to level it off some way, or possibly use it to my advantage. Grease rolls to the front left corner requiring some maintenance after a cook.

Does not Fit the 2025 models of the E-325 Grill

I bought this along with the new 3 burner Spirit E-325 Grill. It does not fit. It seems weber has not yet released the new model to fit it. Also note, the half griddle also does not fit the new grill.

First use was 2 lbs of bacon, 1 pound followed by a 2nd pound, grease leaked all the way down into the cabinet below - not into the drip pan at all. It is way to heavy to be really used frequently. Maybe ok for pancakes or grilled cheese but not bacon or burgers as recommended inset up instructions.

Does NOT fit older genesis 3 grills. This griddle falls right through and does not lay flat over the burners. I have to use it on top of the grates. Which reduces the heat, and takes longer to cook and does not work as well. It never was mentioned that it’s only for new genesis models.

The insert fits the whole grill space and would work well; however, it is very heavy and moving/storing it would be a chore. I returned it before using due to its weight. As of now there is no substitute for half its size.

Griddle insert should be porcelain coated like the insert for the Weber traveler. Food sticks and hard to clean. Fits great. Would not buy again.
