Outstanding Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my new Samsung stove for just over a month now and I'm very pleased. My last stove was an old open-element model with an oven that never kept the correct temp. The Samsung, though, keeps a solid temperature and the size of the oven is outstanding. There is one drawback, though, to the size - it means the drawer beneath the oven has to be smaller... but I'm adapting. Just can't keep as many sheet pans as before. Everything else is good. I think my ONLY complaint would be that the front control panel is not backlit. In the evenings, if I'm using the stove I can't see the buttons on the control panel without turning on an overhead light. If they would backlight the control display I'd be very happy...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Modern looking and powerful!

It looks great, especially from afar. Up close, beware that there’s a considerable amount of plastic (knobs, plus a big panel on the top/front.
I am so pleased with the precision knobs that require a squeeze and twist to activate the burner. This is a wonderful safety feature!
In case your installation crew doesn’t remind you: you’ve got to run a 400° oven for an hour before your first use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mislead and disappointed

Bought so I could preheat the oven while in another room but can't do that without having to go press start on the oven itself which makes the whole thing pointless. Massive let down. Let owners take responsibility and remote preheat at their own peril.
If this is a feature you're looking for find another range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look of the oven. It is a little hard to clean the lip that is between the cook top and the . Crumbs catch in that area, the oven heats up really fast as well as the burners. The self changing feature is great however it does not clean the glass so you still have to do that part. I also tend to bump ask v the buttons on the touch screen while cooking, but for the price look and features I can get over those issues.

One handsome range yet with factory mistakes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's good and bad news. First, I want to say that this one industrially handsome range. I love the appearance of it. The squeeze and push feature of the knobs will save me many headaches. Overall, it could be a bit more hefty. Now for the negatives. The interior coatings are not to my satisfaction and shouldn't be to Samsung's satisfaction either. There's a 1" area that is nearly absent of coating. Not good Samsung. Now for the kicker. When I connected the gas and plugged in the unit, the range displayed a C-dG or (C-d6) Code for Gas Leakage. This led me to download the complete user manual which should come in print form, but doesn't. Per the "Solution" on Page 51 I removed the thin back panel and noticed one of two wiring connectors at the top of the gas connection section not connected at all. This is not acceptable! How this range left the factory in this condition is beyond me. I decided to make the connection and the error code went away. I suspected there was no gas leak or signs of combustion yet your range stated otherwise. This cannot happen to another customer.

DO NOT PURCHASE!

I purchased this oven approximately 4 months ago. It is absolutely the worst. The cooktop is fine, however, I absolutely dread having to use the oven. It takes forever to preheat and then it doesn't hold the temperature. Food takes more time to cook. If you even take a quick peek to check on your food, the temperature drops 30-40 degrees. It's a disaster when you are baking cookies, as they take a short period of time to bake and then you have to wait till the oven preheats again to put in the next cookie sheet. I have been cooking for over 45 years and YOU have definitely taken the joy out of it.
