Fun little figures with nice texture and paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These 4 figures come in a nice window display box and would make a great gift for the young ones or fans of Lord of the Rings. They stand around 4 inches and have intricate texturing (like Sauron’s armor), and very vibrant and clean paint work. Each figure has a small peg at the base, and are not articulated. I think some articulation, maybe around the neck, would have added more playability but as-is these are great for rough play as nothing can break or come off.

Fun item for collectors

It's light hearted and fun. It does seem like an odd thing to make with Little People which are usually considered baby toys but it's still nice.

Great for Lord of the Rings Fans of All Ages

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happily surprised by The Lord of the Rings The Black Gate Little People Collector set. At first, I wasn't quite sure how well the "villains" of LOTR would translate into Little People form, but after seeing them up close in person, I can say it actually works surprisingly well. The figures are made in the classic, sturdy Little People plastic form--perfect for introducing the characters to your youngest LOTR fans. There is a surprising amount of detail in the characters that you can't really tell until you see them up close. Sauron's armor is fairly intricate and you can see the one ring on his finger. They manage to make all the figures look true to their character while still maintaining the "cute" Little People look. Even the box itself has cute details with illustrations of Little People style wringwraiths in the background, and the back of the box has drawings of the characters surrounded by the end of the one ring poem. I think this is a set that any collector or Lord of the Rings fan would enjoy! It would also be great if you just want to introduce some fun, fantasy characters to your kid's Little People collection. Great for imaginative storytelling and play!

My Precious!

The details are impressive and the packaging can serve as a display or play area. Kids and adults alike will love adding this set to their collections!

LOTR Collectable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This collectable is adorable and is great for any fan of the Lord of the Rings series. It comes with all of the favorite bad guys from the series. My younger kids thought Gollum was a bit creepy looking but otherwise enjoyed them.

A great Lord of the Rings set for Fans of any Age!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lord of the Rings! Where to start. My son is a great fan of the movies (has not read the books...yet!). When he saw this set he was very excited. Even though it is a Little People set the detail of the figures are great. Same with the packaging. My son really likes how you can open and preserve the packaging. He likes he has 2 options to display. Though it as a little difficult to get the figures out of the packaging. The details is great. From yh serial on the armor to detail on the hair and clothes. The RING on Saurons finger was nice. This is a great Little People set and a great addition to any Lord of the Rings fan, no matter their age!
