Have a Weber Q that is both portable and super efficient; moving up to a 3-grill configuration made sense, and we are pleased with the otherall surface space to cook. A few start-up issues with achieving temperature which we will be watching closely in the future.
I've owned grills for 50 years and have never owned a Weber until my wife bought me one for Christmas. The Genesis is worlds apart from anything I've purchased and well worth the price. The design, quick heating, easy cleanup, little flareup are all huge plusses. I thought I would miss my side burner but I just put my cast iron skillet over one of the burners and it fried my potatoes perfectly with no kitchen splatter to worry about. I'm thrilled...and my wife paid for it!
I have yut to use the BBQ , however putting it together was not hard at all. And if my cooking is 1/2 as good as the item looks ,well im looking forward to that day.
