While this grill (which replaced my 20 year old grill) is basically the same size, the configuration of the burners has put me back into the "learning" mode. But the grill is very responsive to adjustments of heat and control of different areas, which makes it more usable and efficient for cooking more than one item (eg. brats on one side and veggies on the other). I know this grill will outlast me, but my children will get much use of it and will love it the way I do.
Overall, I'm satisfied so far. However, I did discover a small blemish in the painted finish on the front of the lid. It looks like some kind of particle got caught in the finish while it was being coated. I'm hoping it won't blister and peel off. Hence the reduction to 4 stars for quality control.

Thank you for your feedback. Your satisfaction is very important to us. So sorry to hear about the blemish in your lid. We are happy to look into this and provide a solution. Please look for an outreach email from us soon. Thank you!
The last Weber I had to replace, I could tell if the flames came on. I could also use the hole under the ignition with a flame instead of the ignition. This new version is reversed with everything on the left and you have to use the ignition button only. The worst part is you can’t tell if the first row ignited before I start the second row until I smell gas. The design is not user friendly and almost dangerous.

Congratulations on your new Genesis E-315! We can understand the confusion using the new grill with the burners on the front. It will take some getting use to. We would suggest removing the grates and flavor bars to watch the burner tubes light. Our Care team will be following up with you. Please look for our outreach soon. Thank you!
I purchased this grill about a month ago and so far have no complaints. I grill about 3 times per week and I’ve been impressed with how well this grill works. I’ve always thought the Webers were over priced, but the quality and warranty make this grill worth the price. Just wish I had bought the 4 burner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We really like this Weber grill we had one previously as well. The only thing I do not like about this grill is there’s no indicator on The part that holds the propane tank to tell you how full or empty the tank is you basically just have to eyeball it and guess until the tank goes empty and the gas girl no longer turns on. Unlike our weber grill that had indication on the tank holder, that would tell you how full the tank was based on weight.
