Congratulations on your new Weber Genesis S-315 Natural Gas grill! We understand your concerns with food sticking to the grates and post-grilling care, and we apologize for any frustration. We are here to help!
Brand new grates can be a little stickier than grates "seasoned" by use. Preheating the grill at high heat (450-500F) for 15 minutes before grilling is always recommended. Hot grates stick less and create the gorgeous sear marks we love to see.
Your grilling journey is important to us! Our Care team emailed more grilling tips to improve your experience. Thanks for being part of the Weber family!
My old genesis Weber girl lasted 25 years with constant use. This one seems to have all the durable parts, the old one did, plus improvements and heat distribution. Ignites Instantly and it has individual igniters for each burner and they got rid of the crossover tube. They seem expensive at first. But they last for years and years. I was hoping the rotisserie off the old Grill would fit but it doesn’t.
The grill easily starts and heats evenly. It doesn't flame up. This is my first weber but I have cooked on my dad's Weber which I have always enjoyed. His is about 20 years old and still works perfectly. That is why I chose to pay a little extra and get one.
This grill is everything I expected it to be! I researched for months before deciding on this grill. I love cooking on it! There is zero flame up and steaks are perfectly seared! I LOVE IT!
I have owned a number of grills over the years, both LP and NG. While this grill doesn't have the whiz-bang bells and whistles of some other models (I don't use sear stations or side burners), the included features are thoughtful and useful. And it's simple things like the grease tray sliding out the front and "locking" at the end of its travel so I can easily scrape it down into the drip tray (which means I'm going to do it more frequently), and the ease of assembly. I did notice that the BILT app did not have the assembly instructions for this particular grill, and if I'm going to use it, it has to absolutely match, or the parts are going to look different, so I couldn't use the app. No matter, the assembly instructions were clear and the parts were smartly provisioned for ease of installation which I appreciated. Functionally, it is top notch. Burners burn evenly, heat control is good, igniters work consistently, flare-ups are minimized by design. Overall, a fantastic grill.
