Get Peace of mind with this home sensor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received complementary from Influenster and Aqara in exchange, for my honest review.  I’ve honestly have been wanting one of these because my toddler can unlock our front and back door even though we tell him not to. So it’s just such a comforting feeling and sense of security knowing that like if I am doing some thing I can hear or be notified that one of the doors are open and not just for him but also for safety when my husband is at work late or when we are on vacation. You download the app follow the instructions. It comes with the sticky pads easy install I deduct one*just because I wish that the paper had instructions on it for people who aren’t very tech savvy.

It’s complicated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited and looking forward to receiving the Aqara Door and Window sensor. I thought it was just a simple set up. I guess I was wrong. You have to have certain smart home devices in order to use the Hun E1. I tried to follow the prompts on a YouTube video but it was more complicated then u had and it didn’t work as it was supposed to. I hope I can figure it out, I’d love to be use the door and window sensor.

Easy to install!

This product seems really durable and the accuracy is pretty good! I would recommend this product to people who are looking for home sensors for sure!

Notification of open/close is instant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience with Aqara products. Installing the app was easy and I didn't have to provide much information, just create a login name and password and connect the devices to your wifi. Each device has a small circle button you press and hold down for 5 seconds, a light blinks 3 times and the devices connect. It took me less then 2 minutes to connect my window/door sensor.
The window/door sensor comes with a double sided sticky adhesive pad so your able to attach it anywhere you desire. I used it on my kids bedroom door so I know if they open it during the night. I will probably get another two and put them on the windows.
It's instant notification that the window/door is opened or closed.
You could use these sensors for so many different things. Kids get in the snack drawer when you step out of the room? Business door and you want to be able to step in the back and no if someone walks in? Kids bedroom in the second floor and you want to know if the windows open? The list goes on.
I plan in trying some of the other sensors and lights to add.

Good once set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The process to set up wasn’t hard but the directions were a but confusing to where it was not exactly simple. But after figuring it out I do enjoy it. I paired with Smartthing app as I have other devices conntected to it and like the added measure to know my doors/windows are closed.

Good looking modern low level security for home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall they are a good but the installation product has compatibility issues that need to be resolved such as the apple home issues, the other issues I did not enjoy were the long setup times it took around 15 minutes due to complications with connectivity. The aquara home hub gets warm to touch very quickly and the home hub is a separate device required for other aquara products to operate. As for alerts and such you will be required to make an account with aquara if you would like to get notifications and automation features which is a minus for products like this that require Amazon Alexa, google etc., it does what it says it does and looks very nice and sleek.

Protect your homes

But when we’re away vaca or visit can’t secure the home just based of of looking eyes. This is a great security and it’s affordable for all around your house. Keep your loved one safe and all your memories.

Didn't work for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The door and window sensor is super easy to install and get the app downloaded, but once I got to the wifi setup part, it said it only connects and only supports 2.4G wifi. which doesn't work for my end sadly. I wish it worked for me. One thing I do recommend is maybe have a sensor that supports different wifi connection speeds.
