Gives peace of mine for water leaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two sump pumps in my basement that make me nervous because they have gone out twice already. The Aqara Water Leak Sensor is designed to detect and alert you right away when water leaks. This can help prevent costly water damage. The alerts give me such peace of mind that I can enjoy my day without being concerned about the next time a malfunction may happen. So far, I am impressed with its performance. I didn’t realize this needed a hub to connect to initially so thankfully I had one. I thought you would be able to connect to an app straight from the device. I did a test and it did detect water quickly. It has a nice appealing design and is very compact. I’m not sure how long the batteries will last.

Easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a nice thing to have as someone who travels a lot some thing that always is in the back of my mind is what if we have a leak and this notifies me to my phone if we do. It’s small doesn’t take up a lot of room and was easy to install.

Interesting and Security

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is so neat. It doesn’t plug in and when it detects wetness it alarms but also connects as a smart home device. It’s fairly small about 2.5 inches wide. It doesn’t take up too much space but provides great security. I am not a smart home set up pro so it was a little confusing to set up.

Great leak detector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Water Leak Sensor T1 works wonderfully it the app could use a little work. It also would be better if it didn't require a hub to work. I am tech savvy and set up the app quickly. Upon testing it, I noticed I wasn't being notified even though it was set up to do so. I finally got it to notify me by setting up an automation task. Overall, it works well and provides peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I just bought our first house last year. We have been wanting some kind of water leak system and this does the trick! The hub is compatible with Alexa, it is a usb connection. The sensor is supposed to go off even without wifi connection. So far, it appears to work correctly!
