Good system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a good security system, I just wish there was more options for sounds and the setup was easier. It took me a while to set it up but once I did it worked how it should. I intended on using this on a toddlers bedroom as an extra precaution to him getting up at night. I think it will work for the time being but the sound selection were very dramatic like ghosts, or air siren. They had an option called music box but it seemed to soft if an option. I wish I could choose the length of sound. You can choose how loud you want the sound and choose an action for the device which I like the customizable nature but I wish it was easier to customize and set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hooked this hub up immediately after receiving. It supports all Apple home kits came with a door and window sensor. I was able to get it set up when I enter the room the lights automatically turn on. Can’t do my ac yet but will be going to buy a wall switch unit to work with the hub. It also connected to my Amazon Alexa. Holds up to 128 different devices. Easy set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not going to lie this was a bit hard to set up. The instructions are very easy but for some reason my phone was struggling to connect with it. Could be something on my end.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to replace my door sensors from another company that just stopped working randomly. I’m so glad I got these!
Aqara Door and Window Sensor detects the current status of doors or windows via the distance of the magnets inside the sensors between the sensor and the magnet. When the door or window is opened, the two parts of the sensor separate, triggering the device to send a signal to your smart home system or app, alerting you of the change in status.
Key features of the Aqara Door and Window Sensor:
1. Easy installation: The sensor can be easily mounted on doors, windows, cabinets, or drawers using the included adhesive strips.
2. Wireless connectivity: It connects to your smart home system via Zigbee, a low-power, reliable wireless communication protocol.
3. Battery life: The sensor is powered by a CR1632 coin cell battery, which can last up to 2 years depending on usage.
4. Compatibility: Aqara sensors are compatible with various smart home platforms, including Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT.
5. Automation: You can set up automations based on the sensor's status, such as turning on lights when a door is opened or triggering an alarm when a window is opened unexpectedly.
Overall, the Aqara Door and Window Sensor is a reliable and affordable device that can enhance your home's security and convenience by integrating with your existing smart home setup. Its long battery life, easy installation, and wide compatibility make it an attractive choice for many smart home enthusiasts.

Not so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from Influenster for my honest opinion. Great concept but poor app that you use, no instructions, it was confusing to set up, and when we finally got it, it worked once then would work off and on. Just not a great experience with it.
