Problems, problems

Nothing but issues since purchasing this 4 years ago. Needless to say, we’re in the market for a new panel ready unit because I’ve had enough.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Built in Refrigerator

Installed Kitchen Aid model KBSN608EPA00 48" BUILT IN Refrigerator when I built my house 6yrs ago.right from the start less than a year the compressor went out was replaced under warranty. more problems at leased once ever year ice would build up on the evaporator stopping proper cooling a kitchen aid service guy would use a blow dryer melt the ice go back to working for another year. Finnally the evaporator developed a leak contacted kitchen aid for service. Repairman diagnosed a leaking evaporator coil and informed me that this unit was so bad they no longer make parts to repair. very disappointed a &10,000 refrigerator didn't last longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Door is very heavy - injured my arm. I’m learning to protect myself-LOL.
Wish I’d found it with ice dispenser on door.

Not flush - completely misleading

We are having the same exact issue as everyone else; fridge won’t sit flush. Why on earth would I spend this kind of money for a panelled fridge if it isn’t flush with the cabinetry??? This is so misleading, I would like to know how Kitchen aid gets away with this. We spent so much money on our kitchen renovation and this completely ruins our kitchen. This fridge should NOT be this expensive because of this. People pay this much for panelling for a reason- they expect a certain look!
