Freezing issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and the water dispenser keeps freezing up! Hopefully technician can fix issue this week? Damaged dispenser guard area trying to thaw out frozen line. Not happy that the chrome plating is bubbling. Looks bad.

Expensive disappointment

On fifth service call since being installed. Ice maker has been replaced three times. Controller board once. And now it doesn't cool at all. An extreme disappointment that KitchenAid appliances are so poorly made. Very strongly recommend you don't buy.

Noisey for brand new

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great for a month. Started making a groaning noise and water dribbles out the ice dispenser. Then started making a trickling and hissing noise. A technician came out and he say's the latter is the defrost and normal. The former is the probably the ice maker (it would not reproduce for him). We need to ensure there is no ice in the shoot and to empty the ice container weekly so that there are no big blocks in it. We are trying to record the noise but it is 2-3 times a day for 20 seconds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Item Broke In The First Few Months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do not purchase this. The freezer constantly frosts all your food. The water dispenser started leaking and the entire freezer door has to be replaced. That item is backordered and they have no estimation of when it will arrive. In addition, you can speak to a single person to schedule anything or find out the status... nobody answers the phone and nobody emails back. go with another brand.
