Simple stove that cooks well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a couple months of using this cook stove am very happy with it. Wanted a simple coil top unit, but was a little concerned about the new safety switches on the burners. So far they have caused us no problems at all. The burners work very well and are more efficient than ones on the old stove. Oven temperature is accurate and the oven bakes well. Controls are up high, in a safe place.

Great Stovetop Burners - Poor Oven !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried to complete this review 5 or 6 times. It would not accept it nor would it allow me to go back to correct what it said I missed. In short; the stove top burners work great; the oven needs 30 minutes or more to heat up to baking temperature of 325 degrees.Even worse, the oven racks jam against the oven walls creating burn and spill hazards all over the oven walls, bottom oven heating element, open oven door, and all over your kitchen floor; or worse yet, all over yourself !

Great cooktop, Poor oven !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove a couple months or so ago. The stove top burners (both large and small) work just fine. The oven though has several problems. First it takes 30 minutes or even longer to warm up to a baking temperature of 325 degrees; so you need to start early to begin cooking in the oven. Second the oven racks do not fit; they are too wide and jam against the oven side walls. When you have baking pans, cookie sheets, pizza pans, cake pans etc filled with ingredients you want cooked the jammed oven racks will suddenly release and either slam towards the back of the oven spilling ingredients all over the back oven wall and on the bottom of the oven and on the bottom oven heating element; or suddenly release to the front and spill everything over the open oven door or even all over your kitchen floor and/or all over yourself (obviously a burn hazard if the stuff is hot. It seems to me that the factory did not check to see that everything actually worked the way it was supposed to work.
