Nice model for a rental or seasonal home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is new and I haven't used it much. So far, the oven and stovetop work well. Stove looks sleek and well-made. However, I do miss having more detail on the control knobs, because its hard to tell exactly where the temp is set if you want to set the temp somewhere between 425 or 450, for example. I miss also miss the control lighting that tells whether they're on or off. This is a more than satisfactory stove for a seasonal, summer home, but iti may be slightly deficient for a year round home - nothing major though.

It’s a nice looking stove but the cooking performance is poor… the heating process slows down the cooking . I really dislike it very much.. I own mine going on two years in November 26.. to me it’s too new to have it replaced

Cant boil water
on April 27, 2026
Posted by: wantstoboilwater
I bought this product in Fall 2025 and the stove top cannot boil water. It doesn't matter how long you wait the heating element shuts off before it can boil. Also support is non existent and you get put on hold forever and there is no support email. I am going to have to write them to get support.

It’s disappointing when your Electric Range is not living up to your standards. We regret you are having these concerns with your Range burner not boiling water experiencing long dry times. Please see the following troubleshooting tips:
The cycling behavior of your new coil element is normal operation and is due to updated UL (Underwriters Laboratory) standards, which required all new electric cooktops and freestanding ranges to be equipped with temperature-limiting coils starting in June 2018.
The inner coil will cycle on and off and glow red when it is cycling on.
The outer coil will remain on constantly but may not appear to "glow" as strongly as your previous element.
While this change is standard for all brands and replacement parts, it may cause large volumes of water to take longer to heat.
To ensure the best performance when boiling water, please follow these tips:
Use flat bottom pans and put a cover or lid on the pot when boiling water.
Use the correct size burner for your pot or pan, ensuring pots do not overlap the burner by more than 1/2 inch.

on January 24, 2026

I would like to know when you’re cooking on the top high I had it on high. Why does it cut off cool my grease all the way off where I couldn’t find the chicken what is wrong with the stove? Why do it turn off and then heat back up for the top eye on the stove that is really weird I am not a fan of this. Please explain to me why

Very disappointed
on December 30, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall rating is 0. The stove is the most basic model but I still expected it to perform at a decent level, which it does not . The oven temperature has to be set a minimum of 25 degrees higher than what you need and you have to check it constantly, so cooking anything that needs an even temperature throughout the baking time is quite a challenge. The heating elements seem to have a mind of their own, stove top burners set on high with a tea kettle full of water cut back on temperature for a time before coming to a boil. If I could have a do over, I would take my 50 year old GE back and put a new element in the oven and keep it instead of buying this range. I sorry but that is my honest review and I am a seasoned cook and baker.

Hello,
It’s disappointing when your Range is not living up to your standards. It sounds like your oven needs to be calibrated.
The calibration allows you to slightly offset the factory-set temperature to better suit your baking and cooking results. If you have determined through testing (such as using an independent oven thermometer or observing cooking results) that your oven consistently runs too cold, the following methods provide the standard procedures for adjustment. It is crucial to understand that the correct method is specific to your range or oven's electronic control type, so you may need to try each method presented below to find the one that applies to your particular model.-----Oven Calibration Procedures: Step-by-Step InstructionsMethod 1: Using the Control Panel's Settings Menu

This method applies to models equipped with an advanced electronic control panel that features a dedicated menu for system adjustments.

1. Determine Access Point:
Check your control panel for a button or touch-key labeled Setting, Options, or Tools.

2. Navigate to Calibration:
Press the appropriate access button and then use the directional pads or keys to toggle through the displayed options. Look for and select either Temperature Calibration or Oven Calibration. The exact wording may vary by model.

3. Adjust the Temperature Offset:
Follow the instructions displayed on the screen to increase the oven temperature offset. Since the oven is cooking "too cold," you will want to increase the temperature setting. The display will guide you on the acceptable range of adjustment (e.g., typically up to +30°F or +18°C).

4. Save the Adjustment:
Once the desired temperature increase has been set, press the START key to save the new calibration setting.
To discard the changes and exit, press the CANCEL key.-----Method 2: Using the Temperature/Time Down Arrow Keypad

This method utilizes a specific key combination to access the calibration setting directly on certain models.

1. Access Calibration Mode:
Press and hold the Temp/Time down arrow keypad for a total of 5 seconds.

2. Verify Calibration Display:
If this method is correct for your model, the oven display will change to show the current temperature offset setting. This may appear as "0°F CAL" or simply "00." (indicating a zero offset).

3. Adjust the Temperature Offset:
Use the Temp/Time up or down arrow keypad to increase the oven temperature offset. The adjustment is typically made in 5°F (3°C) increments. The total adjustment range is typically from +30°F (+18°C) (for an oven running too cold) to -30°F (-18°C) (for an oven running too hot). Select the positive (+) value that corrects the temperature deficiency.

4. Save the Adjustment:
Press the START key to permanently save the new temperature calibration setting.
To exit without saving changes, press the CANCEL key.-----Method 3: Using the BAKE Keypad

This method is common on models that require holding the primary cooking function key to initiate the calibration mode.

1. Access Calibration Mode:
Press and hold the BAKE key for 5 seconds.

2. Verify Calibration Display:
If this method is successful, the oven display will show the current calibration setting, typically appearing as "00." (indicating a zero offset).

3. Adjust the Temperature Offset:
Use the TEMP/TIME "up" or "down" arrow pad(s) to increase the oven temperature. In this method, the temperature adjustment is often made in larger increments, typically 10°F (6°C) amounts. The total adjustable range is from +30°F (+17°C) to -30°F (-17°C). Increase the setting to the desired positive (+) offset.

4. Save the Adjustment:
Press the START key to confirm and save the new calibration setting.
To exit without saving changes, press the CANCEL key.
