The cursor does not work properly when using Word or other word processing features, such as answering this email. The cursor disappears and will not go to the place needed using the touchpad. This is extremely annoying and should not be happening to a new computer.

We certainly understand your concern regarding the issue with the touchpad and the inconvenience this may have caused. To resolve this, ensure the touchpad driver was installed and try to adjust the speed and other settings inside Windows 11 Settings>Bluetooth & devices> Touchpad. It is a smart device, if this is your first experience with this kind of touchpad, please allow some time to get use to the multi-touch function of the pad. To improve the touchpad responsiveness and stability, ensure Windows, touchpad and chipset drivers, and the Armoury Crate utility for this laptop are up to date. Updates for this laptop are posted at: https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/for-gaming/tuf-gaming/asus-tuf-gaming-a15-2023/helpdesk_download?model2Name=FA507NU . Additionally, if you are accessing web applications, check if this laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable internet connection will affect the responsiveness of the touchpad. Decent laptop. Not a gamer but gaming laptops seem to have best specs. HDMI stopped working about 18 months after purchase. Still trouble shooting, I don’t do anything fancy. Nor do I treat it very harsh.
