Great toy

I had so much fun putting this thing together I honestly see it being hard for a 9yo to be able to do this without adult help just due to the tiny difference in some piece. After getting it all together it is honestly very durable and my kids absolutely love it

Difficult but awesome

First thank you for allowing me to be part of this campaign I am grateful the set actually made it to me after 5 months of waiting. You must have patience in order to assemble this. There are so many pieces but it was awesome. A bit to much for my boys to do but with help from uncle it turned out great!

Fun family project

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re huge Formula 1 fans so I knew our 7 year old would love to help put together this set. Even though it’s Formula E, he doesn’t know the difference. We love McLaren as well so this was a super cool set for us. Don’t let the larger exterior pieces fool you, this is a tough set and definitely needs an adult to help. The functional “pull back” wheels are really cool that make the car move. Although we don’t play with it, it’s put up out of reach of our toddler.

Wonderful build

Once together you can pull it back and let it go it takes off really well. It was a lot of fun watching the excitement they got from completing the build.

What intrigues me most about all the Lego products I've assembled is their attention to detail. This Race Car doesn't disappoint despite the arguments between my fat fingers and the instructions!
This thing is 12-1/2 inches long, so far. I don't think it will grow much. There are only 3 bags of parts and one more for the tires. And I can't stop giggling with joy and awe.
From "What on earth is this?" to "Oh, WOW!" the parts come together with precision. I agonize over the decals, I've never been great with applying them but that doesn't diminish the fun. And to think, I've never been a car buff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went a head and bought this for my son. He’s been begging for it since I got the claim in October. He loves anything cars so he is excited building it right now. The packaging is nice and takes you through the steps of building it. It was pretty expensive but he’s worth it. He will put this on display in his room with all his other built legos.
