Learning tool

I bought this toy to share with my six and eight year old grandsons( their mom is a fan also). We enjoyed building together. I have used legos as a learning tool to “read” and follow instructions. They have been great in teaching how to recognize and correct mistakes. They teach patience and persistence. They help my grandsons feel sure of their abilities. They have learned to recognize when they have skipped a page and to investigate if they have extra pieces. Both boys like the figures in these sets. Playing and building have increased their ability to communicate specific ideas to others. They share better and have expanded their imagination in what builds are possible and what to play.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We all love Lego in our family! Kapp’n’s island boat tour is really nice ! Very easy to assemble, 233 pieces, a lot of tiny ones I wouldn’t recommend it for very young children.

This was such a happy surprise!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I though it was small for the retail value but after considering the whole experience and the outcome I’m sold! It’s the first time my almost five year old follows instructions to build Lego and it was a hit! I love how you can get creative with the organizing of the island. I put everything in a blue Lego mat o had to simulate the ocean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego set is super cute. My daughter and I spent some time together,  I set it up and put all of the pieces together while she was able to play. We have a larger Lego platform where you can stick it on so they don’t break off and it makes a scene to where she can actually use the little Legos to play so this is super fun and cute.
