A lot of storage in a small package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this is an impressive option for portable storage. It's amazingly small, fit's easily in the palm of my hand. As you might notice from the uploaded picture this drive is unfortunately a bit of a dust magnet, lol. It doesn't affect performance however. The file transfers are fast. The ability to securely encrypt files is a big bonus, especially if you intend to keep business or financial files stored on this drive. This is a great tool for moving files between devices as well as keeping important files backed up. The only thing that would improve this is to include a USB C to USB A adapter as this only connects via USB C and not all computers have available USB C ports. I'm able to connect this to my desktop, laptop and phone using the USB C so I haven't determined if there would be any decrease in file download/upload speeds using a USB C to A adapter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Superb Built Quality Samsung T5 EVO Portable SSD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the package, you can feel that the built quality of the Samsung T5 EVO Portable SSD is really nice, feels nice in hand, too. Further inspect the product, you notice that the material is really nice. It's USB Type-C connection, the upload speed is really fast, you can also plug it into your smartphone as an external storage room or if you need to transfer all the photos or documents from your smartphone to an external drive, this SSD can will be able to do so. And did I mention that this Samsung T5 EVO Portable SSD is 2 terabytes?
The size of the Samsung T5 EVO Portable SSD is really small so, it's easy to carry around with you.
Overall, I really like the Samsung T5 EVO Portable SSD, another superb product by Samsung. If you are in the market looking for external storage SSD, I would recommend this Samsung T5 EVO Portable SSD.

Portable and fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am enjoying this portable SSD. It is small and compact and easy to use. I was able to copy over about 30 Gigs worth of files in just a few minutes. I am very impressed in the transfer speeds for this drive. I also like that is uses USB-C for its connection. I will use it for other files and images. I was also able to easily set the drive up with password security. So far so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The T5 EVO is Samsung’s latest offering which aims to deliver a large amount of storage at a reasonable price. It has certainly managed to do this with the help of enhanced V-NAND technology pushing the storage up to 8GB. This makes it the world’s largest portable SSD to boast 8TB capacity, surpassing the largest capacity HDDs with 2.5” form factors. The design is compact, light, and ergonomic making it a pleasant device to look at and hold. The T5 Evo is incredibly easy to move around and does away with the need for much bulkier external hard drives that we’ve become accustomed to in years gone by.
It comes in three different sizes, 2TB, 4TB, and 8TB so you can pick an option to suit your needs. The read/write speeds are up to 460 MB/sec. The T5 Evo is a fairly solid, middle-of-the-range, SSD that performs adequately enough.
What is important to me is security and this device boasts AES 256-bit hardware encryption that is important to me.
Overall I really enjoy this device and recommend to everyone.

The real draw to the T5 EVO boasts a sleek, compact and minimalist design. Its rubber type casing feels premium and sturdy, making it comfortable to hold and resistant to bumps and scratches. It's also quite lightweight and pocket-sized, measuring just 3.34 x 1.5 x 0.58 inches and super light weight. Can easily be stored in a small safe (if you like to backup all your photos and videos like me) or travel with you anywhere.
The T5 EVO connects via a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port. As soon as you connect it, autoplay offers options on what you want to do. So easy for someone not familiar with these products to get started. Just open the file, and start moving files over. It promised read and write speeds of up to 540 MB/s and 500 MB/s, respectively. However, when using the free Samsung Magician program to get insight into this product, I was seeing write speeds on 40 MB/S. it did suggest i use a faster USB port.
