Slow Write speeds
on July 20, 2024

Greetings.
I have problems with write speed on this drive... The read speed is fine with transferspeed between 400-460MB/s. But when writing to the drive its only between 30-50MB/s. Ma old WD elements mechanical drive is faster than this SSD.
When doing a benchmark test in Samsung Magician it says 438MB/s S read & 440MB/s S Write.

Response from Samsung USBy Samsung Brand Ambassador, July 22, 2024
Peygoz:
I’m very sorry for the difficulties you’ve experienced with your T5 EVO SSD. We completely understand your frustrations, and we are here to help.
The maximum transfer speed that can be achieved by the T5 EVO is 460 MB/s on a PC that supports USB 3.2 Gen1 and UASP Mode, but the speed may vary depending on your PC environment and the types of data being transferred.
As there are various factors that could affect speed, I would encourage you to call Samsung Customer Support if you need further assistance to troubleshoot your issue.
1) Call: 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for Memory). Available 9AM - 12AM EST (Mon-Fri)
2) Email: samsungmemorysupport@sea.samsung.com
3) LiveChat 9AM-9PM EST (Mon-Fri) -- https://www.livehelpnow.net/lhn/lcv.aspx?d=34834&ms=&zzwindow=0&lhnid=29783
We hope to hear from you soon.
