[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently experiencing the LG Ultragear 45GR75DC-B gaming monitor through the Insiders Campaign has been a revelation. Boasting 5120 x 1440 resolution, a 32:9 Ultrawide Aspect Ratio, and a 1500R Curved VA Panel, it offers a stunning gaming experience with features like DCI-P3 color space gamut coverage of 95%, VESA DisplayHDR 600, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro at up to 200Hz.
The unboxing process was straightforward, with clear instructions, and setting up the base was easy, providing a solid stand with a wide range of adjustments. The monitor's build quality is excellent, featuring an ultra-thin bezel and a variety of IO ports, including 1x 3.5 mm jack, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), 2x HDMI 2.1, 2x USB Type-A, 1x USB Type-B, and 1x USB Type-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode/90 W USB Power Delivery).
The inclusion of USB Type-C with Power Delivery is a thoughtful addition, reducing cable clutter, and connecting it to my desktop with high-end components proved seamless. Though initially identified as a generic PNP monitor in Windows 11, installing Windows 10 drivers from the LG support portal resolved the issue. G-Sync was easily enabled, providing a seamless gaming experience at the advertised 200Hz refresh rate.
The monitor's HDR capabilities shine with a peak brightness of 440 nits during calibration. Viewing HDR content on platforms like YouTube showcased impressive color reproduction and dynamic contrast, although the viewing angles, typical of VA panels, are limited.
In gaming, titles like Call Of Duty Modern Warfare II, Warzone, Diablo IV, Starfield, and Cyberpunk 2077 were eyecandy. The display parameters, combined with no tearing or ghosting at 200Hz refresh rate with HDR enabled, brought new life to these titles.
In conclusion, the LG Ultragear 45GR75DC-B is a stellar gaming monitor. Its excellent picture quality, color coverage, high refresh rate, minimal input lag, and the sleek design with an ultra-thin bezel make it a top choice for gamers entering the Ultrawide arena without breaking the bank. I wholeheartedly recommend this monitor for its outstanding performance and immersive gaming experience.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have been playing with that screen for a few weeks now and it is such a game changer. We were used to have two monitors which were great but having only one allows you to see details that we wouldn’t see before! We discovered part of game maps and boards that we’ve never seen before thanks to this 44.5’ wide curved monitor! The resolution is fantastic! Even when we are not gaming, this is such a great monitor to work with. You can line up all your work tab, adjust them as needed and just enjoy your best life! We definitely recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had seen big TVs before and even looked at big monitors in their traditional size in the past. Even used a 43" display as a TV monitor for a little bit but nothing comes even close to the sheer size of this monitor and how much real estate it adds to my work area. I get that the monitor is not a 4K screen and I certainly wish it were but its significantly better than my previous setup of 2 4K 28" screens side by side for extended gaming sessions. My biggest gripe with the monitor is that it seems either too faded (more like washed out) or too saturated (with the different display modes). I tried everything but just could not get the color to pop. I thought an OLED would have True Blacks in black areas but my old LED monitor had better contrast, brightness and sharpness.
I guess the other problem with this monitor is that I don't think I can go back to using a standard 2 monitor setup and am now wanting to try out the 57" 4K Ultrawide in the market.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG Ultra Gear 45” Curved Gaming Monitor offers deep blacks, excellent contrast, an incredible level of immersion, and the smoothest gaming experience I’ve seen.
Unboxing the monitor and setting it up was a snap; no tools are required to join the monitor to the stand and all wires/accessories that I needed were included. Once I turned on the monitor, I cycled through the settings to make adjustments and customize the picture. The single menu toggle is quite convenient and I quickly learned my way around the various categories. Although, tuning the picture took longer than I expected (about 20 minutes) before I finally found the sweet spot.
The color reproduction on this monitor is stunning; colors are vibrant and true to life, which enhanced the visual experience of my games and movies. The HDR technology shines when it comes to dark scenes, providing deep blacks and rich details that create an immersive cinematic experience. One of the standout features of the monitor is the 200Hz refresh rate. Coming from a monitor with a 100Hz refresh rate, the difference is night and day. Fast-motion scenes are displayed with unparalleled smoothness, and there is absolutely no blurring, even during the most action-packed moments. During gameplay, the ultra-wide format, with the 1500R curve offers a more natural field of view and I could see more objects with my peripheral vision. This led to a greater feeling of immersion in games.
The 45” footprint of the monitor is sleek and elegant and enhances the aesthetics of my desk. The clarity and sharpness of the display make text and graphics incredibly crisp and easy to read, while the the ultra-wide screen provides an expansive workspace, allowing me to have multiple windows open side by and side seeing more content at once without any overlap.
I recommend the LG Ultra Gear 45” Curved Gaming Monitor for gaming, productivity, and multimedia consumption. It offers great color reproduction, HDR capabilities, an incredible 200Hz refresh rate, and an unparalleled ultra-wide viewing experience. The overall performance and visual quality make this monitor an outstanding choice. Whether you're a hardcore gamer, a productivity enthusiast, or a movie buff, this monitor will exceed your expectations and elevate your digital experience to new heights.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been gaming for my whole life and this is the BEST monitor I’ve ever used. Can have multiple windows open at same time for multi tasking but also can see more details when I have just one screen open. The picture quality is very impressive and it runs incredibly smooth. It is very user friendly and not hard to set up at all. Basically plug and play. It also has less wires than my previous monitors making for less clutter. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great affordable gaming monitor.

I hooked up my PS5 to this monitor and it gave me the feeling as if I was in the game. This monitor provides enough inputs to satisfy, including HDMI 2.1. I was very happy with the clear and vibrant pictures that had no noticeable stutter. I would definitely recommend this monitor to family and friends just make sure you have room for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I researched a few different monitors before choosing this one, but I'm definitely glad I chose this on! I was using a tv as a monitor before this and its a huge upgrade. It's improved my gaming experience, the picture display is great and there are a lot of display modes to choose from. I love the split screen feature so I can watch a sports game or tv show while I play a game. It's definitely huge, but that's what I was looking for!
