Doesn’t connect to my xbox

I’ve had this hard drive for 2 years now it works when I plug it into my pc but my Xbox doesn’t detect it

There are cheaper ways to get this much headache.

Holy crap I hated this game drive. This game drive would constantly erase everything I put on it, which is obviously super fudging annoying. Support wouldn't help me figure out what was wrong. Definately never buying anything from these guys again; I can blow my money elsewhere. Eventually I just got tired of dealing with it and threw it around the barracks room till it broke apart. (which only took three times, if that tells you anything about the durability of the product.)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't believe the Hype!

I was very excited when I recieved the WD Black 4TB external hard drive as a gift along with a Sony Playstation 5 console. I was amazed at the sheer volume of games I could store on the device, allowing me to have a wide array of choices to suit nearly every gaming mood I might find myself. I marveled at the speed at which I could transfer my PS 4 games from the console to the extended storage device. It appeared that Western Digital had answered the dreams of many gamers.
My love affair with the device was short lived.
Within 90 days of use, I started to notice my PS 4 games played from the extended storage device would crash along with a message that the data was corrupted. I would be forced to repair the device, delete the game in question, and then re-download the game. This began to happen more and more frequently, eventually resulting in re-formatting the drive and starting from scratch. I truly believed this would fix my problem. It did not.
Sadly, this "dream" gift has turned out to be very disappointing. The fact that it was "...incredibly easy to install...", had "...ridiculously fast..."transfer rates, and all at an "...affordable..." price tag, means absolutely nothing if it doesn't perform the basic task of allowing me to store and play my games.
I have been a Western Digital fan and customer since I built my first computer in 1998. Regrettably, I feel our long-term relationship may be at an end.

Can’t plan new xbox series x/s games??

Was not what i needed unfortunately. I couldn’t play any games that are xbox series x/s which was the only point why i got it.

Both side bulge

Both side top and bottom panel are not flat, bulge a little bit, so you put it on desk its not stable and even, may cause viberation
