Unfortunately it didn't work for me. It's too short for the area I need it to stretch to.
Please make these antenna longer than10 ft. I bought 2 one for a camera that's on my garage and the other for the NVR just to hopefully provide a better signal to where I need it. The one I connected to the NVR didn't seem to work with the other cameras around the house. Even though the signal aren't terrible in those areas. I just wanted to see if I would get a full 4 bar signal on them currently they are all 3 bars. Maybe the antenna connected to the NVR only works in conjuction with an antenna connected to a camera. On a positive note, shipping was fast.

I was so excited when I read that I could pair my cameras up via bluetooth, without having to connect the system to a monitor! Then I had a problem with one camera showing my green plants as pink. #1 The instructions and website are not helpful and I finally had to use Chat. (My chat tech was great!) #2 It seems that the PC based system for my user dashboard is NOT functioning. #3 So, Unfortunately, I now have to drag a monitor to the room with the Wifi base, delete this camera from the system with access VIA A MONITOR, and then pair and add it again. Very disappointing and primitive for what was paid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This system is great for someone that prefers a wire-free system. The only drawback to this is the fact you can only have four wire free cameras for the DVR

I really can’t tell much of a difference signal strength wise but it holds signal in longer spurts before dropping like the original antennas.

The cameras do not go 300'. They are open in line of sight; no buildings, walls, etc. The ma is more like 150-200'. Otherwise the software and overall product are as expected.

I bought the antenna about a month back to help with signal from a couple cameras that kept dropping signal. 8" log walls were interfering with the signal, attached to the Wi-Fi NVR and have nearly zero dropped signal. It helped.

It didn't work for me. In fact, I'm now a few steps backwards.
First, it may work as an augmentation at the camera side of things. I could not use to for that purpose as the newer cameras have no antenna port.
Second, don't bother trying to augment signal strength at the NVR. It simply didn't work for me. In fact, I seem to lose signal initially.
Third, trying to go back to the standard antenna configuration was a big setback, where I'm not re-establishing all my camera connections to get back to my initial performance.
I like the Night Owl products. Been using them for a few years now. Highly recommend.
Service/support should be a learning opportunity for both the customer and the company. I can learn what I did wrong and how to approach the product successfully. The company can learn what the customer is misunderstanding or if there is a glitch in the product and when it shows up. Let's do better.
