Nice little ice maker

I received this ice maker as a replacement for the discontinued model that was leaking. The customer service representatives were very helpful, although going through email was slow. Once I called, the process was much smoother. This machine is much smaller than the 30 lb. unit. That's nice, although it holds less ice as a result. It runs a lot more than the other version, but it's nice that I don't have to remember to start it back up when the ice is gone. The only (somewhat) negative comment is that it isn't always really "nugget" ice--it's more a combination of nugget and crushed ice. But it's still very good ice. It seems easier to drain after cleaning, as long as you have it close to a sink so you can scoot it over since the drain is on the bottom.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love how easy the set up and cleaning process is. The ice maker cleans itself and has a easy attachment to release the water. It makes a full batch of ice in around 15 minutes! Highly Recommend!

It's a great machine

I was really excited to see Newair come out with another small nugget ice-making machine. It's easy to clean, it's compact, isn't heavy, and makes the perfect amount of ice for a small family. It will also continue to make ice on its own. My only complaint is that it's too loud for it to be so small. I've only had it since May 4th and it sounds like something is rattling inside. It's on an even surface, and it wasn't always this loud. For it to be so small, it's just too loud for me. Other than that, I do recommend this machine.
