Better than what I had.

It is on the firm side. That doesn't bother me as much as it bothers my husband. What bothers me is the heat. Even with the gel layer the mattress still retains a lot of heat. If you don't mind a firmer mattress and a warm bed, it is a good mattress.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just too firm

I liked the way that it came in, although the box is a little awkward to carry. It's cool how it expands when you open the vacuum seal. Unfortunately, after 3-4 weeks it is just too firm. I will most likely be returning this mattress to go with a softer bed in a box. The opening for our upstairs bedroom can barely fit a queen through, so we are resorting to the bed in a box route. I really wanted to like this bed, but both me and my partner require something softer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Waiting for my 30 day minimum time to send it back. Comfort is decent, but too much heat retention. Will not work for me through the summer.

First off the transaction...website made it extremely easy to order and the shipping was fast, right to the doorstep! Would recommend two person setup but being impatient I did it myself. After a couple hours for mattress to expand to a perfect shape I slept on it that night and was amazed that I did not have nearly as much back and shoulder pain from my old mattress. It does have a cooling effect also but will be able to tell more when the weather warms up. After three weeks we are very happy with our decision to purchase the GhostBed! We did read multiple reviews of all the comparable mattresses including Casper and Tuft & Needle. Found the GhostBed had the best comfort to value ratio of them all. I was also reassured by the 101 day return option, so no risk what so ever. Also received three free GhostPillows!!! Sleeping much better now! Thanks!

A very therapuetic bed

In my previous bed I would frequently wake up with pain in my back and shoulders. With the Ghostbed which I have had for about a month these problems have been minimized or eliminated. Sometimes I feel that it slightly warms up, but it is not a problem. There is no odors coming from the bed and it seems to be a perfect blend of softness and firmness.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It took a few days for our bodies to adjust to the Ghostbed, but now we are sleeping well for the first time in years. Make sure you have a solid foundation (the foundation they sell is all wood and takes time to assemble), as the foundation also plays a huge part in your comfort level. But we have truly slept well on this bed!
